I work a part-time job Monday through Friday from 10am–4pm. I leave the house for work during those hours, but outside of that time I am fully available and spend the majority of my day with your pet, making sure they get plenty of attention, care, and exercise.

With a background in veterinary medicine, I’m always keeping an eye out for anything that might be unsafe. Whether it’s dropped food, chewed-up toys, or open doors. I don’t allow dogs to meet other dogs while out on walks, and I never do any off-leash activities unless it’s in a securely fenced yard with your approval. I keep things calm, clean, and consistent, and I’m comfortable handling anything from minor issues to emergencies if they come up. Your pet will be in good, experienced hands.

Please let me know if your pet has any allergies, medications that need to be given, reactivity, or if they love counter surfing or eating things they absolutely shouldn’t! The more I know ahead of time the better I can keep everyone safe and happy!
A typical day
I fully follow your pet’s usual schedule. Whether that means two walks or four, early mornings or late-night routines. I won’t add anything new or unfamiliar unless it’s something you already do. If you usually offer puzzle toys with peanut butter, yogurt, or fruit, I’m happy to keep that going using what’s already in your home. My focus is on keeping things consistent and engaging so your pet stays relaxed, mentally stimulated, and comfortable while you’re away.

Genesis was very thorough in her preparation and took careful care of our 8 year old greyhound mix. She navigated a few scheduling quirks and Grace having an upset tummy for a few days eadily. She was attentive, and sent us lots of photos so we could see how Grace was enjoying her visit. We'll definitely want to schedule Genesis again!
This was our first time using Rover. We are so pleased with Genesis pet sitting service. She sent us detailed updates twice a day with photos of Carly. Which we loved. This is the first time that I was able to relax while on vacation knowing that my baby was in the comfort of her home and was in good hands. Genesis cared for our two cats and one dog over a ten day period. This was the first time she housesat for our pets. We've had many people care for our pets over the years, but Genesis will always be my first call, going forward. She was fantastic. She came to our house before vacation to meet our pets, go over their schedules, and review paperwork. Her professionalism and obvious love for animals told me that our pets would be in great hands. I was right. Every day of our trip, she sent a detailed update with multiple photos which soon became one of the highlights of my day (the other people on our trip didn't hear a word from their pet sitters and were very jealous!!). She informed us ahead of time of a pre-scheduled conflict, and then went above and beyond to coordinate temporary care with a neighbor. I highly recommended Genesis for all pet care! She is very professional, highly communicative, trustworthy and kind. FIVE STARS!!!
