A Safe, Happy Place for Dogs
Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here. Finding someone you trust with your dog is a big deal, and I’d love to provide a safe, happy place for them while you’re away. I’ve spent the past 7+ years caring for animals of all kinds from dogs and cats to birds and even reptiles so I’m very comfortable with different personalities and needs. I also have experience with basic dog training, which allows me to reinforce good habits and help dogs feel more settled and confident. Because I work from home, your dog will have consistent supervision and companionship throughout the day. My home is set up to be both safe and enriching, with a fully fenced yard for outdoor play. My own dog is well-trained, gentle, and friendly with others. Each stay includes a good balance of playtime, mental enrichment, and time to relax, so your dog feels comfortable and at home. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident while you’re away. I’d love to learn more about your dog and how I can make their stay the best possible!

Genesis gave us a great first experience with Rover. She is thoughtful, intentional, and clearly has a genuine heart for the dogs in her care. My pup, Satchel, spent the afternoon with her and had a fun time playing outside, exploring, and getting to know her pup, Maisey. Satchel and I look forward to our next opportunity to connect.

Oh my goodness, Genesis was amazing!! My 50 lb dog has so much energy and she was able to physically exercise her and then even did mental games with her afterwards. She sent me pictures throughout the day and Lucy looked exhausted and happy. Will definitely refer her to my friends!

Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine since I work from home. I like to start mornings slow with walks, feeding, and some playtime so dogs feel settled and comfortable right away. During the day, I balance attention, enrichment, and calm downtime so each dog can relax while I’m working. I try to follow their energy and needs, whether that’s more play or more rest. I stay close to home, so your dog will have consistent care, supervision, and a steady routine throughout their stay.

I do my best to create a safe, calm, and welcoming environment for every dog in my care. At my home, I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor time and live in a quiet, safe neighborhood that’s great for walks. I have one friendly, well-trained dog who enjoys the company of other dogs, but I always make sure introductions are done thoughtfully and based on each dog’s comfort level. Inside, I keep a clean, dog-friendly space with comfortable beds, plenty of fresh water, and toys. I’m also able to crate dogs if needed, whether that’s part of their normal routine or helps them feel more secure. I pay close attention to each dog’s needs, energy level, and personality to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. I also maintain a clean, healthy environment, and all pets in my home are up to date on vaccinations for everyone’s safety.
