Hi there! I'm Genelle—lifelong animal lover, expert treat-giver, and a firm believer that pets are people too (and usually the best ones). I’ve spent over 30 years caring for animals—starting with our beloved family dog when I was a kid, to being the go-to pet parent in every house I’ve lived in since. While I’ve never had pets of my own (life logistics, not lack of love!), I’ve shared homes with both dogs and cats and have been the “cool roommate” who also just so happens to feed, walk, cuddle, clean up after, and sneak the occasional extra treat to them. I'm comfortable with administering medication (pills, drops, peanut butter disguises—you name it), and I’ve picked up some basic training tips over the years, though I’ll leave the fancy stuff to the pros. What I can promise is patience, reliability, and a whole lot of affection for your furry family member. Whether your pet loves long walks, couch snuggles, or just someone to chat with while they glare out the window at squirrels, I’ve got them covered. I’d love to meet you and your pet! Note for cat sitting/boarding - I have a slight cat allergy that is easily managed with allergy pills and not allowing cats on the bed I'm sleeping in.

Genelle did a great job with our territorial/reactive dogs for a week! She was very patient with them and still provided excellent care and communication while we were away. 5/5 would absolutely hire again
Genelle was AMAZING! I will definitely book with her again! She handled all four of my fur babies with no trouble at all. They all have little quirks especially being rescues, but she was able to care for them all! She got my pup to take his meds even with the weird directions. I loved getting a daily update with pictures! I didn’t worry at all during my trip. She also left the house in better shape than she got it.
Luna had a blast! She was in such a good mood after her boarding with Genelle. I would absolutely book again

Genelle is the best dog sitter in Denver, hands down! She really took great care of our elderly dog Dr. Mambo while we were away for a week and her updates were fantastic. Mambo really loved his time with her and almost didnt want to go home! I will exclusively book Genelle going forward for our pets care!

Schedule
I work full time mostly from home with a flexible schedule so I’m available most days for walks, drop-ins, overnight stays, and daytime care—just let me know what you need!

Whether I’m welcoming your pet into my home or caring for them in yours, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I live alone in a quiet, pet-free apartment—an ideal setup for pets who enjoy a calm, cozy environment with lots of one-on-one attention. I keep the space clean, hazard-free, and peaceful, with plenty of room for lounging, playing, or just relaxing while you’re away. My building has a fenced in outdoor patio area for some outdoor play time as well! If I’m staying in your home, I aim to keep your pet’s routine as familiar as possible. I’m respectful of your space, attentive to your pet’s needs, and mindful of any specific instructions—from feeding schedules to quirky habits. For drop-in visits, I make sure your pet gets quality care and companionship—even if it's just a quick walk, a snack, or some playtime. I’ll make sure water bowls are full, tails are wagging, and everything’s secure before I leave. No matter the setting, I take pride in being reliable, communicative, and fully present with every pet I care for.
A typical day
Every day includes plenty of playtime, walks (or window watching!), belly rubs, meals on schedule, and some solid chill time. I match your pet’s vibe—active, cuddly, or both!
