As someone whose work often keeps her tethered to a computer, having four legged furry friends around is a pleasure. My husband also enjoys interacting with dogs. In fact, he generally gives the dogs 2 walks per day despite having a fenced-in yard. When the weather is good, we hang out with the dogs in the back while Aaron smokes a cigar and Geneen pulls weeds (in addition to throwing balls). If I'm working in good weather, I leave the door to the deck open so dogs can sun on the fenced deck. Please explain if your dog has ever growled, snapped, or bitten a person or another animal for any reason. We may ask you to sign a written pledge accordingly. We are NOT a good fit for dogs who have shown signs of aggression toward people or small dogs. Daily rate is for any 10-hour period between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Rate includes regular outings to the backyard plus snacks as permitted. We prefer two dogs max plus our own. Nightly rate is for any 24-hour period. Two walks are included. While we prefer dogs be crated overnight, they may roam freely in the living, dining and kitchen areas of the house. We do not enjoy dogs who demand to be on our bed at night. Let us know if we may be of assistance. It is important to us for you and your puppy have the best possible experience. Be sure to include picture(s) of you and your dog on the Rover website and to complete your profile for the quickest response.

Just amazing and wonderful! We needed help and had some logistics issues and she was so flexible and helpful and considerate. I'm deeply grateful and Gizmo looked calm and at home the whole time.
Geneen took great care of our Greg while we went away for a week. She was easy to communicate with, shared lots of photos, and has a magical backyard for pups wanting to explore. I would absolutely recommend Geneen!

Such an amazing and caring dog sitter! I have used her Services a couple of times now and my old anxious dog loves it. She is great will doing meds and my pee diaper wearing old man dog :) Would 100% recommend!
My dog didn't want to leave! Geneen and her husband took great care of my 12 yr old pup while I was out of town. They kept me updated with pictures and texted me everyday about how he was doing and what they did together. I highly recommend considering them for overnight boarding or daycare of your pet.

Schedule
Going out between Zoom meetings is a nice way to clear my head--especially when the dogs have been quiet during my meetings. We therefore really, really appreciate dogs who are not easily set off into barking frenzies.

Safety, trust & environment
Our kitchen, dining and living room are shut in from the other areas of the house. This is where the dogs and I hang out during the day (except when we are in the backyard or I'm working elsewhere).

A typical day
Dogs seems to enjoy running around the backyard and playing. Sometimes we turn on the waterfall for them. There are a number of sticks and balls in the backyard for dogs to play with as well.
