Lifelong Animal Lover
I’ve been around animals my entire life and have had cats since I was born. Over the years, I’ve also fostered multiple kittens, which taught me patience, responsibility, and how to care for animals with different personalities and needs. I currently have a dog as well, so I’m comfortable caring for both cats and dogs of all ages and energy levels. I genuinely love animals and always make sure they feel safe, cared for, and comfortable. I’m very patient and attentive, whether that means giving pets time to warm up, sticking to routines, going on walks, playing with them, or simply making sure they get the attention they need. I also work with patients in a hospital setting, which has strengthened my compassion, reliability, and ability to stay calm and caring in all situations.

If you’re looking for someone you can completely trust with your pets, Gemma is truly the best of the best. She has this incredible, natural connection with animals; dogs and cats instantly feel comfortable around her and it’s honestly amazing to see. She doesn’t just “watch” pets, she genuinely cares for them, spends time with them, and makes sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I cannot recommend her highly enough! Your pets will be obsessed with her!
There is no one that I would trust more than Gemma to watch over and take care of my pets. She truly loves my animals as much as her own. When not spending time with my dogs and cats, she is constantly checking in on how they are doing, sending me pictures reminiscing of the last time they spent together, and saying how she hopes to see them again soon. When we spend time together, she is always offering to feed them, take them on walks, and just give them as much love as possible. Due to this, whenever I do out of town, Gemma is the first person I call to watch over my dogs. I know that she is diligent with feeding and medication routines, and that her diligence will not stop there. She is not someone who will do the minimum of the job, but will give as much love and playtime to my dogs as possible, in addition to the specifics of what I have asked of her. My dogs have come to love her so much, and are overjoyed whenever she steps into my home. I am sure that Gemma will give the same love and care to any dog or cat that she takes care of, and your animals will love her as much as mine do. I couldn't recommend her enough!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
As a pre-med student at Florida State University home for the summer, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time throughout the week. I attend EMT classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and I usually work out in the mornings, but outside of that I’m available most days for drop-ins, pet sitting, feeding, playtime, walks, or just keeping your pets company. I genuinely enjoy staying busy and spending time with animals, so pet care is something I look forward to doing during my free time.

Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities. I’m very patient, attentive, and good at reading animals’ personalities and needs, especially with cats. I’ll always make sure your pets feel comfortable, cared for, and safe in their environment while sticking to any routines or instructions you provide. I also work in a hospital setting, which has strengthened my sense of responsibility, compassion, and attention to detail. I truly treat every pet like they’re my own.
