We’ve now used Gemma three times—once for drop-in visits and twice for house sitting—and I honestly can’t recommend her highly enough. She is an absolute gem! From the moment she met our two boys, it was obvious how much she genuinely cares about animals. She looked after them with so much love, affection, and attention, and it gave us complete peace of mind knowing they were in such caring hands. Gemma always had our boys’ best interests at heart, kept us updated, and treated them as if they were her own. We came home to two very happy, relaxed cats every time. I would recommend Gemma without hesitation to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and reliable pet sitter. We’ll definitely continue using her in the future. I had a great experience with Gemma! We met up beforehand for an intro with my dog Zelda, and during the boarding in her apartment she was very communicative and sending daily updates and pictures throughout. Zelda is 13.5 years old and doesn’t handle the heat well in summer, so Gemma made sure she stayed cool inside and took walks in the morning and evening with her. I’ll definitely entrust Gemma with my Zelda the next time I’m away for a few days. Thanks so much Gemma!! 😊❤️
He tenido una experiencia muy buena con Gemma. Se quedó en mi casa durante 12 días para cuidar de mis dos gatos, y todo fue genial. Quedamos dos veces antes (una vez para conocernos y otra para recoger las llaves), y desde el primer momento me pareció muy cariñosa, de confianza y claramente amante de los animales. Recibí actualizaciones y fotos todos los días, y al volver a casa me encontré con gatos felices, bien cuidados y la casa ordenada. Por las fotos que me enviaba, se notaba que estaban muy a gusto y que recibieron mucha atención. Además, uno de mis gatos, Louie, necesitaba tomar antibióticos por un resfriado, y ella se encargó sin problema, lo cual me dio muchísima tranquilidad. La recomendaría sin ninguna duda a cualquiera que busque a alguien responsable, cariñoso y de confianza para cuidar de sus mascotas. Sin duda volvería a contar con ella.

Schedule
I work from home the majority of the time, so I have plenty of time to care for your dog or cat! I often have a lot of weekend availability as well.

I follow the pet owner's instructions as they ask and make sure to leave their home tidy and as it was when starting the job. I make sure to clean up after the pets if their food spills or anything else.
A typical day
I love spending time outdoors with dogs, so we'll go for lots of walks and to a park when available. I also love playing with them, especially if they have a favorite toy or game they like to play.
