A Loving Home Away From Home
I live with my partner in a quiet, dog-friendly area, right next to a beautiful local park. Our home is shared with our two lovely dogs, Nieve (a Westie) and Daisy (a Chorkie), as well as our rabbit and cat. I have been passionate about dogs from a young age, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I work as a teacher at a local primary school, and while I’m at work, my partner is at home with our animals. She is just as passionate about dogs as I am, so your dog will always have plenty of company, care and attention throughout their stay. We aim to provide a true home away from home, where dogs can feel safe, comfortable and loved. Dogs staying with us have access to our secure garden where they can play and explore, as well as plenty of fuss, cuddles and attention. We treat every dog as part of the family and make sure they are well cared for and thoroughly spoilt during their stay. We enjoy getting out and about and take the dogs on several walks each day, both locally and further afield. We regularly visit beautiful local spots including Heaton Park, Bogart Hole Clough and Rhodes Nature Reserve, giving the dogs plenty of opportunities to explore, sniff and enjoy themselves. Most importantly, we want every dog who stays with us to feel happy, relaxed and at home. 🐶❤️

Highly recommend this sitter, Boe has been with Gemma twice and is definitely very happy when she stays here. Gemma is very accommodating, sends lots of pictures and genuinely loves and understands dogs.
Absolutely fantastic with woody again He loves staying at your house
Gemma was looking after our dog Roger for a one week. Every day I received photos of him. She would always respond for my questions etc. Overall I am very grateful and pleased she provided a home for him during our holidays and he came back to us happy and healthy 😊
As always, Gemma and partner looked after Olaf like he was their own. They sent lots of photos and really put our minds at ease. We are always able to enjoy our holiday knowing he is in the safest hands. Thank you!
Boe had a fantastic time with Gemma, I would highly recommend. Gemma sends daily updates, accompanying photos and takes the dogs out everyday for a lovely long walk. We very rarely go anywhere without Boe but would definitely use Gemma again.

I currently work full time as a teacher, but my partner is at home all day to provide fun and care for animals staying with us :-)

I have a secure fenced garden that dogs have access to via patio doors. There is an entrance at the end of the road into the local park where we go daily and we also go on visits to other parks when I am off at weekends or during school holidays
