When dogs stay with me, I understand just how important it is to ensure they are happy and comfortable. As an experienced pet owner myself, I know the worries we go through leaving our beloved fur babies! That’s why it is so important to me that i do my absolute best to make every dog that stays with me, as happy as I can. I allow dogs on furniture and beds, I am more than happy for them to snuggle up in the duvet with me! I call my dog my little bed bug as he loves sleeping under the covers! I’m a very active person, (I run half marathons on the weekends for fun!) so of course, I love going out walking and exploring new places, so there will be daily walks if that’s what your dog requires. We have an abundance of toys that dogs can help themselves to, lick mats, snuffle mats and treats. I will keep your dogs routine as much as I can while they are with me. My dog is super friendly and loves all dogs 😊 I work in a primary school doing before and after school clubs, so I am only gone for 2 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoons, but there is usually someone home when I leave and just before I get back so the only time dogs are really left alone is under an hour in the morning and the same for the afternoon, so if your dog likes company this would work great! Gemma has just looked after my dog Tippi for a week and I am extremely happy with her care of her. I spent some time dropping off Tippi to stay with Gemma for various hours to get her acclimatised as I had never left her before and I was anxious. Nothing was too much trouble for Gemma. I went on holiday confident Tippi was going to have the best care. I had just lots of messages and pictures while i was away, so i was very relaxed and could enjoy my holiday knowing my dog was well cared for. Gemma's dog is a lovely well natured dog and my dog had such a great time with the whole family I don't think she wanted to leave! She misses Rocky very much this week! If you are considering using Gemna I would highly recommend her. Go for it! Your dog will have the very best time
Gemma was so good with our dog and looked after him brilliantly. She also kept us updated with photos which was great
Ginny had another lovely sleepover with Gemma and the gang. She dragged us to Gemma's door when we arrived and it's so great to have someone who Ginny clearly loves to stay with and feels safe with. There was a slight last minute panic the day before where Gemma might have had to cancel our booking, but she managed to sort things out so that Ginny could still stay
Gemma took care of Opie for a week. I had regular updates and there were no issues with the boarding. I will happily look to book Gemma again in the future.

Can't thank Gemma enough for looking after Ginny for a week. We hadn't left her that long before but she kept us updated with lots of photos of Ginny's antics and Ginny looked right at home and spoilt from the off, which made me a lot less worried and I was able to thoroughly enjoy my holiday knowing she was in good hands and having a good time 😊 We've already booked her in for another sleepover with Gemma and Rocky in August!

Schedule
I’m home for the most part of the day & evening so will be able to be there for your pets. I love all dogs like they are my own and they will be spoiled with lots of love and cuddles when in my care!

Safety, trust & environment
I can accommodate any needs or wishes you may have, I have a garden that is fenced and live amongst some lovely places to walk, and some fields to run around in. We have toys upon toys in our house which dogs can help themselves to and lots of blankets to cuddle up in. I always have lots of treats and stimulation toys up for grabs too. I try to mimic whatever the dogs at home routine is so they are kept as comfortable as possible.
Pets
A typical day
I like to go for long walks in all weathers, we will play fetch (if that’s what your dog likes and you allow your dog to be off lead!), and play indoors and have lots of cuddles! I taught my dog some tricks so maybe I could teach your dog too! We have snuffle toys and treat kongs to keep dogs enriched and busy if needed.
