I am a registered veterinary nurse from the UK and moved to Canada in July 2024, I currently work part-time in a vet clinic. I have worked with animals since I was 16years old. I have also owned dogs, cats, horses and chickens since I was young as I grew up on a farm. So would happily look after any species!

I have a garden for your dog to explore and they will always be supervised. If you want me to look after your pets at your home, I can visit as often as needed and follow your routine. I am unable to stay over due to having a toddler at home, one requirement is that your pet is good with small children as I will have my son with me who also is a big animal lover!! Crate trained/laid back dogs are preferred if staying over!

Gemma was amazing, she sent us updates and lots of photos throughout her drop-in visits! She was super easy going and it looks like the pups still had a great time without us being home. We will definitely be rebooking with her anytime we’re away

I have known Gemma for years, both as a colleague and friend. She is a fantastic veterinary nurse, and an all-round kind, caring and responsible lady who I trust implicitly. She has cared for my animals in the past and they were so well looked after! Nothing was too much trouble and I got regular updates which was great. Don’t hesitate to book in with her!
Gemma is a lovely cheerful person and I trust her very much with looking after my pets. It is nice to know you have a qualified veterinary nurse looking after your animals. Highly recommend.

Schedule
I currently work part-time so will be around most of the time. I don’t currently have a dog but really miss having one around so your pup will get lots of one on one attention and as many walks as needed!
