Hello! My name is Gemma and I'm currently taking some time out to rest, reset and figure out what's next, having worked as a junior doctor for the past few years. Sadly work made it tricky to own my own pet, but I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, guinea-pigs and fish. I've also volunteered as a dog walker and cat sitter for various animal charities, including the Cinnamon Trust, who I still dog walk for. I have experience of caring for a range of different breeds; including hounds, terriers and working gun dogs (having previously worked for the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust in a former life). I've also sat for a variety of cats, chickens and even horses! For the last few months, I've been dog sitting through Trusted Housesitters and have enjoyed it so much, I thought I'd give Rover a go. I'm a quiet gentle soul and I greatly enjoy getting to know the individual needs and quirks of each pet I look after.
