The more you can tell me about what your dog likes, the better I'll be able to assess what they need if they're feeling anxious. Additionally, I'm very comfortable managing your home. Beyond their general schedule, t's important to know what commands your dog knows, what their favorite treats are, if there is any behavioral training that you're working on, and what their favorite walking routes are.
A typical day
I love to start the day with a walk, especially in the cooler months of the year! I also enjoy giving dogs treat puzzles (sometimes, I make them with materials around the house, like shipping boxes), playing tug with toys, playing fetch, and getting lots of pets and snuggles, if they're the snuggly type.

Pet care experience
I've been dog sitting for friends and family for years and I also spent several months as a paid dog walker in Washington, DC. I have experience with all kinds of dog personalities, from high anxiety and high energy, to chill on the couch and sleep-all-day kinds of doggos. I use a Fear Free framework with all of the dogs I take care of and I work hard to co-regulate to your dog's needs whenever we're sharing space.

Gem was amazing! We have a high energy GSD and there were no issues! The house was well taken care of and I am so happy we found her to watch our dog while we were away! There were daily updates as well which were a plus!
