I've owned a dog for the last 6 years after I was in a car accident. I have been walking my own and others since. I've had cats my whole life and just love all animals. Plus I'm from Maine and know how to deal with most animals. (Smile)

I have a fenced in yard but take my dog for walks daily. I have owned more then one dog in my life and its always a blessing. I am very friendly, caring, and patient.

It seems like our dog was decently taken care of, but although we informed the sitter of having a doorbell camera, we noticed fishy behavior of her covering the camera, leaving our front door open for long periods of time, and trying to hide smoking. Wouldn’t be a big deal if smoking outside the home or around the neighborhood but doing it right at our doorway made us uncomfortable. The updates we got were brief with no details just hearing “he’s great” while on the doorbell camera he looked extremely depressed. The following week we had a different sitter and noticed a drastic increase in our dogs mood with much better updates and no smoking. Be advised if you want a smoke free home, as this wasn’t something communicated to us.
Gayle is so great. Easy to be around. Very down to earth. Loved my pets and my pets loved her. I am very pleased with how things went and I will definitely be asking her to pet sit again.
Gayle went above and beyond. Besides making me feel confident Mike was getting excellent care while I was gone, she also brought in my newspapers (I would have suspended delivery but I live for the NYT crossword puzzle) and a delivery from Grateful Dead Merchandising of the 2026 vinyl reissue of 1976's Steal Your Face. After I got home around midnight, and Mike finally verified who I was he told me to give Gayle seven stars.

Gayle was wonderful! Our international flight was canceled which delayed our return by a full day and she worked with us to extend her time and make sure the dogs were still taken care of. It really set our minds at ease to have them with Gayle. During our trip she was also great about sending daily pictures and keeping us updated. I would highly recommend Gayle for all your petsitting!
