Services
Gayle can care for
Availability
Services offered Monday through Friday. Sundays occasionally upon request. I do not charge higher fees for holidays because we’re all gouged enough these days! I also will send you photos during every visit; that is something that is important to me when I’m away from my dog, so I want to do the same for you.

Safety, trust & environment
I require a meet and greet for all new clients to ensure you are comfortable and that your pet will recognize me upon a first visit while you are away. Safety and security are of the upmost importance to me, as well as the comfort of your pet. Additionally, I will maintain the routine you set in order to minimize stress within their environment. I know this is quite important, given that in general our animals are creatures of habit!
Information Gayle L. would like to know about your pet
Does your dog have any special health issues I should be aware of such as allergies, injuries, etc? Any behavioral issues? Are you working on any special skills with your animal that you would like me to also instill on walks or play-time?
A typical day
My number one goal is to keep your animal safe and you relaxed and up to date while you’re away. Walks will remain within the boundaries that you are comfortable with. If your animal has any favorite games, toys, training tasks those will certainly be incorporated into each visit.

Pet care experience
I’m based in Belgrade and volunteer with Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter 🐾. I grew up with Aussies and have always loved animals of all shapes, sizes, and breeds! As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to have a sitter you can trust. I value clear communication, consistency, and reliability—and I’ll make sure your furry family member feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I offer drop in visits and walks, and I’m excited to be back on Rover after taking some time away to focus on my career goals. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
Reviews

First time using Rover and we couldn't be happier with the person we picked. Gayle was great, sent us updates on our pups with pics as well. Its always scary to have a stranger in your home. Gayle was very professional and really put us at ease.
Gayle was great! She house sat for us and watched our dogs. The dogs seemed to love her!
Gayle first took care of my home and dog when my wife and I were out of town for a long weekend. We're a bit leery of pet sitters after we had a bad experience with some folks (not associated with Rover) whom we hired several years ago to take care of our rescue German Shepherd; he is very skittish/takes some time to warm up to visitors and is definitely a dog that requires patience and special care since he was abused as a pup. From the get go, we both noticed that Gayle's communication and attention to detail were excellent which put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy our vacation. She was punctual/followed our directions exactly, and shortly after arriving at our home Gayle was sending us photos/videos of our dog playing and relaxing. I want to make a specific point that receiving the updates on how things were going without us having to ask was just wonderful! Additionally, I've also observed that Gayle is serious about keeping my home locked up and secure at all times and is anything but careless in this category. If she has questions, she'll ask us and not assume. It's a rarity to find someone whom you can genuinely trust with what's most important, and we've now worked with Gayle multiple times and plan to continue to do so (especially because our dog knows her name and they're officially buddies). Gayle is a first class individual and I would trust her with my dog and home any time.
Gayle would be the best pet sitter; I saw how much she cared for my animals when we lived together as roommates! I never worried that they weren’t being cared and loved for. My dog even began to love her more than myself, she’s that wonderful!
