Mature ( mid 50s) couple. We have found ourselves in a position where we now have a lot of spare time around our working life. Both experienced with large dogs and currently own a 4year old Great Dane bitch who is very friendly and loves other people and dogs. We have a nice dog walking area (Anstey Park ) close by and also some nice road walking routes too for when the weather turns. We understand every dog has its own personality, likes and dislikes and are very flexible and accommodating for their needs so please feel free to speak to us about any of your dogs quirks. Our dog is a big part of our family. and we look forward to welcoming your dog to our house and family.

We decided to leave Louie with Gavin, even though it was far away for us, but luckily on our way to the airport. From the reviews you could tell how much they love dogs, specially her own Lexi, a play and cuddling mate that helps making the other dogs feels comfortable. They are a great time together and was the perfect match for Louie, who is a puppy and the first time staying somewhere else. He came back with better manners and more independent. Gavin was ready for a meet and greet and always very communicative and flexible with drop off and pick uptimes. We'll definitely choose them again!
Gavin provided such a great environment for Clifford while we were away. His dog Lexi is the sweetest thing and Clifford had so much fun staying with them. He sent me updates and pictures throughout the stay. I would gladly recommend him again as they are truly dog lovers and take the best care of your fur baby. We hope Clifford can come back and visit Lexi again soon!
Thanks again, Logan had a great time with Gavin and family, it was great to see logan making friends with lexi and Co. Perfect hosts for him. Relaxed and straight forward meet and greet. Overall would highly recommend 👌
Rafa our young GSP, had a great two week stay with Gavin and Dorriane and Lexi their Great Dane. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
Roxy had a great week, Gavin is brilliant and I will definitely be asking him to take care of her again.

Schedule
Working patterns mean that with Myself or Dorrraine is at home. I am working more from home now and if I have to go out I arrange it when Dorraine is home if we are boarding so your pooch will never feel lonely.

I have a Fenced Garden that dogs can run around safely and free. They are always welcome indoors too and have the run of downstairs.

A typical day
We play a bunch of games to keep your dog mentally stimulated and we have a large park ( Anstey Park) very close to us where we walk regularly. There are lots of other dogs walk there so smells are plentiful and because it’s away from traffic and safe dogs can also run off lead there if you are happy for you dog to be off lead obviously or we can keep them on a lead or even a longer training lead to keep them close but allow them to go and explore.
