Hi! I am Gavin, the biggest animal lover! I work in education, and this gives me a very flexible schedule (I don’t work in summers). I understand the importance of responsibility and trustworthiness, especially when it comes to taking care of your pet. I welcome each pet in and treat each them as my own, quickly snuggling and playing with them. One thing that sets me apart is my expertise in all types of dogs. I have volunteered and fostered dogs of all ages and breeds, including young puppies and dogs at their older stages. I understand that some pets require daily medication, and I am comfortable with administering pills or injections when needed :) I match your dog’s needs. I love being active with dogs by doing plenty of walks, play time at the park, and time at home. But also, if your dog is lower energy or older, I am happy to spend time giving them attention indoors instead. I am excited to meet you and your pets!! Feel free to reach out with any questions.

I cannot say enough positive things about Gavin! Gavin was amazing with my senior dog who requires daily medication and extra care, and handled everything with professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail. He went above and beyond in making sure she got all her care and educated himself about all her meds, and even sent me adorable photos and updates. I was relieved knowing my pup was in good hands. Highly recommend to anyone with pets who need a little extra love and attention!
Gavin was so wonderful with my dog! He was a great communicator and easy to get in touch with, sent frequent updates about my pup, and made sure all his needs were met while watching him! My dog was immediately comfortable with Gavin and I will be using him again for dog sit and walks!

Schedule
My schedule: My job follows the schedule of the school system, so I am off plenty of days and able to be home earlier in the afternoon to let dogs out.

I understand the importance of safety and trust. One of the things I value a lot is communication, especially if there is an emergency. I think being honest and responsible is the best way to go about things and will update you daily. I am happy to talk more about this via chat or phone!
A typical day
I love making sure pets have a fun and engaging time while they’re in my care! Depending on their energy level and preferences, I can take them on long walks, play fetch or tug-of-war, and provide plenty of belly rubs. For dogs that enjoy mental stimulation, I can introduce puzzle toys or basic training games to keep their minds active. If your pet has a favorite activity, I’ll make sure to include it in their day to keep them happy and entertained!
