Dogs have been a part of my life for most of my life. My first dog was our family’s black Lab, Nya. Then I got my own dog, Henry, a Jack Russell Terrier mix who was by my side for 12 wonderful years. As Henry got older, he experienced a variety of health issues, so I became very comfortable administering medication, including oral medications and eye drops. I’m also familiar with caring for dogs who require a specific diet and a little extra patience and attention. I recently had to say goodbye to Henry, and while I’m not quite ready to welcome another dog of my own, I deeply miss the companionship and joy that comes with having a furry friend around. I know how much trust it takes to put your dog in someone else’s care. Whether they need a good walk, playtime, companionship, or just someone to give them a little extra love while you’re away, I’d love to be someone your family can count on. I’ll treat your dog with the same patience, affection, and care I would want someone to give my own. ❤️

I know that trusting someone with your pet also means trusting them in your home, and I take both seriously. I’ll always follow your instructions closely and do my best to keep your pet’s normal routine consistent so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m mindful of doors, gates, leashes, and anything else that helps keep your pet secure, and I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I’m also happy to send photos and updates during my visit so you can feel confident that your furry family member is happy, safe, and well cared for.

We absolutely adore Gavin! She is incredibly caring, loving, and attentive with our animals, and it’s so clear that she loves them as if they were her own. Her attention to detail is exceptional, from making sure all of their little routines and needs are taken care of anytime she is with them. She also loves each of them in the way they want to be loved, with a pit bull, boxer and toy aussie- she conforms her care to their personalities and needs. Her communication is fantastic, and we always feel confident knowing our pets are in such loving hands. We couldn’t recommend her more highly and feel so lucky to have her in our lives! 🐾❤️
Gavin has taken care of my two inside kitties on multiple different occasions. She gives them lots of love and attention and keeps their water and litter fresh!

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible right now, which allows me to make pet care a regular part of my day. I’m available Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 7 PM for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, or just some extra companionship while you’re away. I have plenty of flexibility throughout the day, so I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine and schedule whenever possible. If you need care outside of those hours, feel free to reach out! I’m happy to be flexible when I can.

- Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know as much as possible about their normal routine so I can keep things comfortable and familiar for them. Please let me know their feeding schedule, usual walk and potty schedule, favorite toys or activities, and a little about their personality. I’d also like to know how they typically interact with other dogs, cats, and new people, as well as anything that may make them nervous or uncomfortable. Please share any quirks, triggers, allergies, medications, health concerns, mobility needs, or behaviors I should be aware of. If they have any specific house rules, commands they know, places they are or aren’t allowed, or little things that make them especially happy, I’d love to know those too! The more I know about their normal routine and preferences, the better I can make their time with me feel safe, comfortable, and fun.
