Pet care is big part of my daily routine, and I have a highly flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the dogs in my care. I provide morning and evening walks, regular toilet breaks throughout the day, and plenty of attention and supervised playtime in the garden. I'm also happy to adapt feeding times, exercise and daily routines to suit each dog's individual needs. I enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable while they are in my care.

A typical day
Our day starts with a morning walk for exercise and a toilet break, usually at a nearby park or woodlands. After returning home, dogs are fed and then have time to rest—my own dog, Blue, enjoys a relaxed morning routine. Around midday, we have playtime in the garden with balls and toys, along with gentle care and attention. In the late afternoon, we head out for another walk, followed by the evening meal. The rest of the evening is calm and relaxed, with plenty of companionship. Before bedtime, there is a final toilet break and some fresh air.

Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I have always enjoyed having them around. I share my home with Blue, who is friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs. I have a fully fenced, good-sized garden. Nearby my house, we have plenty of green spaces where we can go for walks or play, with lovely walking routes to enjoy together. I understand that every dog has their own routine and personality, so I take the time to help them feel comfortable during their stay. My aim is to provide a calm and welcoming home where your dog can feel happy and cared for while you’re away.

Our pup, Kevin, was in great hands with Gauhar. She made sure he felt comfortable and settled in nicely. Gauhar sent us update throughout the day, which was very reassuring. We would highly recommend Gauhar and would love to use her again the next time we travel to Peebles.

Tilly thoroughly enjoyed her 10 night stay with Gauhar and their Dog Blue, No issues or problems. We were updated with photographs and video clips and it was clear she had settled in very nicely at Gauhars` home. It was immediately obvious to me after meeting Gauhar and her partner that they were both experienced dog handlers and attentive dog lovers, they asked many questions about how Tilly behaved , her likes , dislikes, habits and routines which was reassuring. Its the first time we have used a dog sitter and i think Tilly was cared for very very well and we will have no hesitation in using Gauhar again.... Many Thanks
