I’ve been an animal lover and dog owner since childhood. I have walked dogs for family and friends, and I regularly cat-sit for a busy household of four cats! (Feel free to check out their review on my profile). I was a primary school teacher for many years and I am naturally calm, patient and highly conscientious when it comes to the pets in my care. I have a strong background in dog handling, having previously trained my own German Shepherd to take part in agility displays as part of a team. Because of this, I'm very comfortable with dogs in general. Your pet’s safety, personality, and specific needs will always be my top priority. I always have Meet & Greet time so we can get to know each other, and so I can learn all about your pet's routine, exercise preferences, and quirks.

When walking your dog or visiting your home, I prioritise safety by staying alert to our surroundings and strictly following your lead on recall and socialisation. My experience training a German Shepherd for agility means I am confident handling dogs of all sizes with a calm, firm, and caring approach. I will always ensure your pet is secure, well-exercised, and that your home is respected and left exactly as I found it If I’m doing a drop in. I have an enhanced DBS check that you can verify via the govt website.

Gary was great walking our dog Luna today! He took plenty of photos, gave us updates/feedback about how the walk went, and even took her for a little longer than I'd paid for at no extra charge. I'm sure Luna had a wonderful time playing ball with him in the field. Gary is so calm and bubbly. He kindly fed her and changed her water bowl before he left. We will definitely be using Gary again.
Gary is absolutely wonderful with the dogs. From the moment they hear his name or see him arrive, their tails start wagging with pure excitement. It’s clear they genuinely adore their time with him. Gary is kind, reliable and completely trustworthy, and he treats them like they’re his own. I always know they’re in the best hands and they come back from their walks happy, calm and well exercised. We feel very lucky to have found someone who cares about them as much as Gary does. 🐾✨
Gary has been cat sitting for us for some time now and I honestly couldn’t recommend him highly enough. He is reliable, kind, and completely trustworthy. He takes his responsibility seriously and is incredibly conscientious in the way he cares for our cats. They absolutely adore him – he’s so gentle and calm with them, and it really shows in how relaxed they are when we return home. He has also successfully administered medication to one of our cats, which he handled confidently and with real care. It gives us such peace of mind knowing they are in safe, capable, and genuinely loving hands whenever we’re away.

Because I manage my own timetable, I am very flexible and can commit to regular, reliable slots or one-off bookings. This allows me to provide consistent care and exercise for your pet while you are out. For pet sitting I can give plenty of time, attention and toilet breaks around any regular booked walks. Just chat with me.
