Hi! I'm a passionate animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for a wide range of pets. I’ve looked after: 2 Cockapoos – one from a puppy, and one with anxiety-related additional needs (my cockapoos are shared ownership with my ex partner, and if your dog is uncomfortable with other dogs I will always ensure that they are elsewhere!) 3 Syrian hamsters 3 cats – including kittens I’ve helped raise and settle into their new homes In addition to personal experience, I’m a keen researcher in my work from home day job—so you can trust that I’ll always take the time to properly understand and follow your pet’s individual needs and routines. I also have: Experience raising puppies/kittens and helping with early socialisation Regularly participated in dog training (obedience, sniffer work, and rally) to a "gold" standard A calm, patient, and kind approach—especially with nervous or high-energy pets Every animal deserves to be cared for in a way that suits them. I currently live in a house with a family friend and their family, which has an enclosed garden. In my space, there is ample room for their crate and food bowls, and I already have toys / Kong's here for their enjoyment! At your house, I am able to ensure your pets maintains their regular routine as much as possible and will fully adhere to your guidance as you'll know what's best for them.

Garth looked after my dog Lily for a week in March. Lily is a bit of a special girl, she needs a lot of kindness and patience. Garth showed her all the love, kindness and patience in the world and he was also very on top of all of her care needs - medication, special meals, walks and activity levels. Garth is super responsible, but the most important for me is the fact that he loves animals and treats them with love and respect. I would recommend Garth to any pet owners!!

Schedule
I work full time at a university, however my schedule is completely flexible and I am always able to work from home! I will be willing to work with you on an ad-hoc or regular basis - whatever is best for your companions
