Madison (Canadian) and Garrick (Aussie), we're a long-term couple who have both had many pets (both cats and dogs) our whole lives and are very experienced house sitters. We've house sat all over Australia using Aussiehousesitters and in BC, Canada using Rover, with every one of our reviews being 5 star! Garrick works remotely as a web developer, giving us a flexible schedule and dependable availability. Madison is your primary caregiver for walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and most bookings, with Garrick available to help when needed. For house sitting, you'll have the added reassurance that Garrick is present as well. Always making sure they are comfortable, loved and happy in their home while you're away.

Your pet's comfort, safety, and routine are our highest priorities. We take the time to learn their usual schedule, feeding routine, exercise needs, favourite activities, and any medical or behavioural considerations before every booking. For house sitting, we care for your home with the same respect we would our own, keeping it clean, secure, and well looked after while providing your pets with plenty of companionship and attention. We also provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are happy, comfortable, and in good hands.

We can not recommend this couple enough. They treated our fur babies with so much love and care ?. Not only did they look after our pets like their own they also looked after our home and you wouldn’t have known they were even here. Loved the pictures we received from them and messages. We are so glad we found Garrick and Madison through Rover! From our first communication to the last day of their stay with our pups, they were exceptional. The communication we received was top-notch, they responded quickly whenever we reached out to them and sent us messages and photos regularly during the week we were away. Our dogs were happy to see us when we got home, but they were also very satisfied and it was clear to us that they had been well taken care of and had had plenty of exercise and socialization. Our house was spotless when we got home, almost cleaner than we left it. Garrick and Madison were reliable, they were able to set up a meet and greet before we booked with them and that helped us to make sure they were a good match for our two larger dogs (they were). Each time we had set up for them to arrive they were prompt, or even early so that we could get on our trip at a good time. We will be recommending Garrick and Madison to our friends in the future.
Garrick & Madi did an incredible job making sure our pandemic pup was well taken care of while we were away. Daily updates, photos and check-ins made us feel super comfortable with them in our home. Would 100% recommend these two and hope they stick around Canada so we can welcome them back. Otis misses them already.
Garrick and Madi watched our 2 ‘ladies’ while we went on an extended road trip. First time ever, leaving without the ladies in tow! Our youngest, Lylah, is a shy mama’s girl who hides from everyone! Garrick and Madi used gentleness and thoughtfulness to win her over! Our older gal, Nova was content and relaxed when we returned ~ definitely an indicator that she enjoyed herself! We came home to fresh linens on the bed and laundered towels hanging in the bathroom, house neat and tidy! Garrick and Madi, your kind notes and pics while we travelled helped us to thoroughly relax and enjoy ourselves, we cannot thank you enough! We will definitely be in touch as soon as the next trip is planned! Thanks guys!
We had Garrick and Madi stay in our home and look after our dog Harlow while we went away, and I would absolutely welcome them back again! They were both such lovely people who even came to meet Harlow before we left so I was comfortable she’d like them, and took care to listen to the multiple instructions I gave before leaving. They checked in with us while we were away which was fantastic, and then we came home to a tidy house and a very happy dog, which was the best! I’d highly recommend them to look after your house and pets and can confidently say they did a wonderful job.
Garrick and Madison stayed at our house in Brisbane, Australia and our furry little family member, a very needy cat in short notice while we had to travel back to South Africa. They were excellent with communication and upon our return, our home was in excellent condition and our cat happier than ever. I would highly recommend them for any house/pet sit.

Schedule
Garrick works online and Madison is your primary caregiver, so we are able to be with your beloved pets when ever they're keen for some attention. This means your animals won't need to adjust to a new feeding/exercise schedule. We are also available for medium to long term house sits (our longest sit to date was 3 months).
