I like big mutts and I can not lie
When I was 6, my first dog Oreo entered my life. A black and white ball of energy, he was my best friend growing up. In recent years, my girlfriend and I have fostered two dogs, helped them work through behavior struggles and anxiety and eventually got them adopted while in Austin, TX. Last year we finally had the opportunity to adopt our own dog, Juno, who is our whole life. I’m very experienced working with dogs with reactivity to people or other dogs. I typically prefer to use positive reinforcement, redirection, proactive situation management to help them. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and am dedicated to providing them the personal care and training you want for them. I become instant friends with each one that crosses my path and can't wait to become best friends with your pup too!

Garrett was excellent with my pup Theo! Theo is a high energy dog who can be anxious and dog reactive. This was the longest I have left my pup and I was very nervous and stressed to find someone who would work well with him. Garrett was great with Theo and made me feel at ease with his check ins and updates. I highly recommend Garrett and will definitely book with him again if I need someone I can trust to take care of my pup!
I’ve already left one review but I’m going to leave another one. By dog has separation anxiety and commonly destroys my apt when I leave. He also has some other behavioral problems and doesn’t like people immediately. Garrett was able to connect with my dog much faster than other people who have met my boy. I just started a new job that requires me to be gone most of the day and I was very scared about what to do with Derwin(my dog). His ears perk up when I say Garrett’s name in the morning telling him he’ll be by to walk him. I was gone 12 hours today and my dog didn’t destroy anything aside from his own toys lol so I’m very happy!
Garrett is great with my boy Derwin! 100% recommend Garrett to anyone who wants their dog to get out and have some fun!
Garrett is great with dogs! He has helped take care of two dogs with my roommate and me this past year, and his responsibilities included walking them, fetching with them, and just generally spending time with them. Dogs love Garrett as well! It seems that whenever we meet a new pup, they always run up to Garrett first. Garrett is a very friendly and compassionate person, and would treat any animal he is interacting with, with respect. I think he would be a great dog caregiver and dog walker for Rover!
Garrett is a dog magnet! Dogs absolutely love Garrett and he loves them right back. Our dogs are always excited to see him show up and never want him to leave. He will also keep you updated by sending pictures and videos of your dogs.

Schedule
I took a couple years off from Rover, but now that I work from home with a very flexible schedule I’m looking for some new recurring clients. I'd love to take morning and afternoon walks or come over to care for your dog while you're at work!
