I work a part time job as a home designer in Seattle, only about three days a week, 15-20 hours, usually mornings. I have plenty of time for pet care most evenings and my weekends are always free. Please give me a few days notice for weekday pet care so we can work around my schedule.

I live in a spacious apartment with one roommate who is also very gentle and loving toward animals. We keep our areas tidy and our food secured in high up cupboards and in the fridge. I live in the master bedroom and keep my door open and my floor clean as well. There are comfy couches and a queen bed if you'd like your pet to have free reign on furniture. There is also a large, open grass field just a five minute walk from my apartment for dogs to run around and play.

Before booking a request, I'd like to know any special accommodations your pet may need as well as any behavior which may require special attention or caution. Does your pet have any triggers such as certain body language or sounds? How does your dog react to seeing other dogs? What commands does your dog respond to? If your dog gets muddy paws on a walk will they allow me to wipe their paws with a towel or do they need to hop in the bath tub? Does your cat scratch furniture? Do they often hop onto the kitchen counter? Are there any areas on your pet which they don't like to be pet? All these questions can be discussed during an in person meet & greet or over text. Thank you in advance!
A typical day
I can take dogs on multiple walks a day down to the huge, open field that's only 5 minutes away from my home. If the dog is trained for off-leash, I can let them run around and toss around some toys. For cats I can provide playtime with a variety of toys as well. There are also many comfortable places in my home for your pet to lounge between play times.

I've been responsible for pets since age 10. Cleaning litter boxes, walking dogs, playing fetch, refilling food dishes, and being a patient, gentle, attentive owner who reciprocates unconditionally love. Now, at age 30, I've gained a deep understanding of cats and dogs, raised many from kittens and puppies, and have parented them through full, happy lives.

Garrett was flexible, available on relatively short-notice, and took great care of my dog for a few days. My normally-skittish dog was nearly immediately comfortable with him, and seemed happy upon pickup. Will be using Garrett as my first choice going forward!
Garrett has been great with both of my cats. I have a senior cat with some health and behavior issues but he has never had a problem with Garrett (sits in his lap, licks his hair, begs for food, etc). My younger cat is extremely shy but she warms up when he takes the time to sit and play with her. I trust that he cares for them with his best.
