Love, walkies, and wagging tails
I've had dogs almost all my life and have cared for pups of all ages - from playful, energetic puppies to senior dog who have needed extra attention and special care, and everything in between. I had a beautiful, anxious, head-strong Shar Pei for almost 14 years. He taught me patience and how to coexist with more demanding dogs.

One of the best rovers I’ve ever used. Very communicative and attentive. It was clear he cared a lot about how my dog was doing. We have an anxious boy and I couldn’t have felt better about Garret’s care. Will be my first priority.
Garret was amazing. We booked last minute because of a last minute change in our schedule, and from the first minute he made us feel comfortable with leaving our baby boy with him. Wish I could 100 stars. Whiskey didn’t want to leave. He really did a great job with our boy Whiskey.
If you want a responsible, tentative, and loving human who will care for your fur babies like they are their own, then Garret is your guy. I have two littermate Blue Heelers that are not without their challenges and he is fantastic with them. There’s really not adequate words to express the peace of mind of knowing your pets are being loved and well-cared for while you’re away and I’m so grateful to Garret for that! And my pups are too - you know you have a really exceptional pet sitter when your dogs are always happy to see him, even when they know his arrival means your departure. Cannot recommend Garret highly enough!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I work in the office Monday through Thursday and from home on Fridays. I am available for weekend boarding. I am also available for boarding during the week so long as your pup is comfortable being crated while I am at the office. Please send me send me a message for weekday bookings. I work close enough to be able to come home during my lunch for midday walkies.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large, fenced-in backyard where your pup can run, play, and explore to their heart's content. I also live on a quiet, flat street that's perfect for walks and leashed exercise. While I am home, your pup would be free to relax and roam the house, but while I'm out, they'll be safely crated for their comfort and security.
A typical day
I do love making sure dogs get in their exercise and are properly mentally stimulated as well. We would go on walks, play in my fenced-in backyard, and go for a few laps around the park that's a block away from my house.
