Love 'em like my own!
My first friend was a cat named Jessica. She was my mom's cat - adopted before I was born - and she taught me a lot of important things about life: the importance of holding clear boundaries, asking for what you want, and being absolutely adorable while doing it. I have always loved animals - their loving presence provides us humans with so much needed connection, joy, and purpose. I took care of my first dog, a peppy goldie named DD, from age 3 until 15 when he sadly passed. I also supported my dad and his dog, a sweet cane corso named Blu, in the last year of his life as he battled cancer. 💛 RIP 💙 I am currently a cat parent to a wonderful social sweetie named Simone. I have been a house and pet sitter for the past 10 years. I lived in as a pet sitter for 2 cats and 2 dogs (1 was blind and the other was very protective and dog-reactive) over a 7 month period; we kept the peace in the house and went on 2 daily walks a day without a hitch! No matter the request - for an hour or for a year - I will always honor and love on your pets the way I love my own - with great tenderness and care.

I have a studio apartment and no backyard. I keep my space tidy and litterbox cleaned regularly. I have both wet and dry food available. When it comes to caring for a pet in a client's home, I defer to their house rules! I love clear instructions and will always ask / encourage comprehensive questions before a sit.

Gari was absolutely incredible with our senior dog. He is extremely shy and nervous and has several eating issues that require special care and patience. Gari went above and beyond to ensure he was eating, drinking, and happy. Gari is extremely communicative and genuinely cares about your pet. Will absolutely book again!
Gari, where have you been lo these many years? We needed your dependability, efficiency, groundedness and genuine caring for our pets a long time ago! But you came along at just the right moment and set our minds at ease while we were away for almost 2 weeks. Gari collected mail and sent daily personal texts and updates through Rover. They won over our shy indoor cats with gentle attentiveness and vibed with our outdoor cats to gain their trust. We hope Gari will be available for our next extended vacation. We think they and our kitties will take up right where they left off. Thank you again, Gari!
Gari was responsive and took great care of my dogs!
Gari has stayed at my place and looked after both the apartment and my cats for weeks at a time over the years. They have treated my pets with competence and great affection, even able to medicate one or two of them at times. No small feat for cats! They follow through on any requests or special requirements. I highly recommend them as an apartment and/or pet sitter!

Schedule
I wake up relatively early (7am), sleep late (11pm - midnight) and work remotely from home, so I have ample time throughout the day to care for pets!
