I’m here to let the dogs out.
Returning to rover after a break while I attended to my own dogs needs. She has made the transition to the big dog park in the sky and I am looking to meet some new characters to give all this love that I have with nowhere to currently put. Previously was working at a dog boarding/training/daycare facility. I have experience working with “kids”of all sizes, breeds, ages and temperaments. On an average day there I would monitor around 50 kids throughout the day at our daycare facility and watch over and care for about 15 kids on an average over night shift. I have experience with giving kids medications ranging from insulin shots to eye drops, bathing small pups to ones that were 100+ pounds, and I’m very aware of kids with reactivity and understanding their triggers and working with them to foster a relationship through it. Outside of working for a business that specialized in taking care of kids that were more friendly and social with people I also have experience working in a shelter with ones that need more specialized attention for traits that are more on the energetic/rambunctious to skittish and fearful. At the end of the day I could tell you all my qualifications and experiences but I think it’d be more genuine to just show you my phones camera roll and how 80% of it is just dogs I’ve cared for and looked after and consider my friends.

Garet did a great job with our dogs. He sent morning and nightly updates which I really appreciated and gave equal time to all of our pets. He even picked up our yard which was greatly appreciated and not something we asked him to do. We'll definitely be having him watch our pets again!
We immediately felt comfortable leaving our sweet pup and having Garet stay at our home with her! He sent us so many adorable photos of our girl while we were gone and it made us feel so safe and happy that she was having a good time. He is super responsive and left the house just the way we left it. I highly recommend Garet to anyone looking for someone to take care of their pets!
Garet was incredibly quick to respond to our last minute holiday drop-in request and was equally quick with communication throughout our trip. He took the time to come over and walk through everything before we left and asked great questions that indicated his high level of care. We would happily book him again for our cat and/or dogs!

Schedule
Currently I am free to schedule around what works for you Monday - Sunday. I teach ceramics three nights a week and have open availability throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
In your home I will do my best to leave as little impact/evidence I was there but do everything I can to make sure your kid is comforted and attended to. I love hanging out with them and will do whatever I can that will make your absence feel less stressful and on their mind.
Pets
A typical day
If your kid likes to snuggle up and relax at home we can do that, if they have a high energy level and need to burn some of it off we can do that. Anything and everything in between can be arranged and planned when I know what works best for them.
