Pet care fits naturally into my current routine. I have a genuinely flexible schedule, which means I'm not squeezing your dog in around a packed day. I can be present, attentive, and available when it matters.

Safety, trust & environment
When I'm in your home, I follow your lead. You know your dog and your space better than anyone, so I start by listening to your routines, your preferences, and any specific needs your pet has. I don't come in with a one-size-fits-all approach. I treat every home and every animal with respect. That means sticking to your dog's established routine as closely as possible, keeping the environment calm, and paying attention to how your pet is feeling throughout my time with them. My goal is simple: your dog should feel like not much has changed, just that a calm, attentive person is there with them.
Information Gardy P. would like to know about your pet
Before a stay, I like to know the basics: any medical conditions or medications, feeding schedule and amount, house rules (furniture, crate, gates), how they do with other dogs and strangers, any triggers or fears, and the best way to handle leash walks if they pull or react to things. I also like to know their personality, whether they're more laid-back or need extra exercise, so I can plan our time together well.
A typical day
I keep things easy and fun for dogs. Plenty of walks around the neighborhood, trips to the dog park when they're up for it, and finding interesting new spots for them to sniff and explore. If your dog loves to play, I'm always happy to throw the ball and keep the energy going. Mostly I just want them comfortable, active, and having a good time.

Reliable, caring dog sitter
Pet care experience
My experience comes from the real thing. I've cared for my friend's Greater Swiss Mountain Dog for weeks at a time, solo — handling walks, feeding, and everything in between. That's a big, strong dog, and keeping up with one builds genuine confidence. What I bring to every dog I sit is simple: I pay close attention. I take time to learn how a dog communicates, what makes them comfortable, and what they need to feel settled. Every dog has a personality, and I think it matters to actually get to know it. My approach is kind but calm and confident — dogs pick up on that quickly. I have a flexible schedule, which means I'm not rushing in and out. Your dog gets real time and real attention, not just the basics checked off a list.
Reviews
Gardy is a GREAT pet caregiver. He's very intuitive and gentle and my cats just loved him. My one cat, Cozy, was particularly fond of Gardy. He is also a strong communicator and I felt my cats were in deeply competent hands.
Gardy has cared for Sunny, our 115lb Swissy, 2 to 3 times a year for years. Most of the time, the length of our travel is a week or more. Gardy is the most attentive, reliable, welcoming person to be with our precious family member. Dog owners in our community will come up to me when I'm walking Sunny and acknowledge how well Gardy takes care of him when we are away. Gardy "moves in" to our condo when we travel and is a great guest in our space; we trust him implicitly.
