I am an off campus UNCA student with large gaps between classes. I enjoy working with animals and need experience for my resume. I am hoping some experience, even just pet experience, will help me obtain internships later.

Although I live off campus, I do not provide in home services at my home. Per my lease contract, pets are not allowed in the house. However, if at your home, I feed, water, and clean up after your pets. I follow all rules given to me by pet parents and when I do not know the answer to something I will reach out to ask.

I recognize I have a couple bad reviews here, and I regret that I disappointed those owners. I took on more than I could handle and that came back to haunt me. During high stress midterm or final eras, I likely will not take any customers. I have no preference for dog or cat breeds, I love all animals. I would like to know if pets have special care instructions and how they are around other animals and people for safety measures. I would need to meet your pet(s) before agreeing to watch them. If your pet is protective of their home, I would like to meet them outside of the home first before trying to meet at home. I ask that you try to have most of the pet profiles filled out and a profile picture or some pictures on your profile, as completely blank profiles make me wary due to lack of information.
A typical day
Walks will be done in the neighborhood and some surrounding areas depending on where you are located. I can play fetch with your dog, groom them, and even teach them tricks if you would like. If you like, I can also take pets for a hike or to a park, as I have an SUV that is large enough for big breeds. There will be lots of ear massages, belly rubs, cuddles, and kisses to go around!

Pet care experience
I have had and worked with animals my entire life. I can bathe them, groom them, feed them and administer medicine if needed. I know how to train dogs and walk them, and they know that I am in charge, not them. I volunteered at a vets office for a year and at the Pitt County Humane Society in Greenville, NC.

This is the 2nd time we’ve used Galyn and everything went super smoothly! Our animals were all happy upon our return and the house looked great.
