I WANT EACH PET TO KNOW I REALLY CARE ABOUT THEM AND THAT THEY ARE LOVED AND SPECIAL. I TALK TO THEM AS THOUGH WE ARE FRIENDS AND EXTEND COMFORT TO THEM REGARDING THE RETURN OF THEIR OWNERS. I BELIEVE THEY NEED REASSURANCE THAT THEIR OWNERS ARE COMING BACK. I LOVE TO PET AND PLAY WITH THEM SO THEY ARE COMFORTABLE WITH ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I TRY TO USE THEIR NAME AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE SO THEY WILL FEEL WE ARE NOT STRANGERS. I ENJOY THEIR COMPANY AS THEY BRING SUCH JOY AND PLEASURE TO ME. THEIR DESIRE TO PLEASE IS SO TOUCHING AS THEY GIVE OF THEMSELVES THAT I HAVE FOUND THEM TO BE THE BEST OF FRIENDS IN TIMES OF JOY AND SORROW.
