Gail is personable, professional and trustworthy. We can depend on her as she is punctual and has accommodated us even with short notice. My dog adores her to bits just as much as much as our family does!

I have known Gail for many years and can attest to her loyalty and love for all animals, but especially to dogs. It's in her DNA. She is extremely affectionate and caring towards them and has years of experience with her own and taking care of other people's as well. She is responsible, honest and always on time. I trust her with my own dog and he loves her too! What else can I say ...

Hello Rover - thank you for considering my friend Gail for being part of your organization. I know Gail for almost 9 years. She has been dog walking and boarding dogs, mostly large breeds, in your home with success. When my husband and I take a 7-day vacation, she boards my Shetland. I have complete trust in Gail - my dog was safe and cared for. Gail is an animal lover and lover of flowers. She has ...

What Gail would like to know about your dog

I have no breed preferences but need to know if there is any particular problems such as separation anxiety problems or if the dog is being trained for helping the blind (Mira Foundation Dogs) which i have had experience with. Or simply a dog with a health issue or aggressiveness which i have the training to deal with. This issues should be discussed before i care for the dogs in question. I also walked and was trained with a Malinois guard dog which had specific needs for over 1 year on an everyday basis.

I never go forward to do anything with the dogs before discussing with owners. If the dog is not well i would call owner immediately. If it helps i have 10 years working in a medical environment which helps my sensitivity with dogs.

When Gail watches your pet

I like to walk one on one with dogs. I play fetch and catch and always try to engage with dog. It has to be positive on every walk in order for a dog to bond with you as well exercise is crucial with dogs and being an eventful and not stressful situation. At the same time a lot of dogs need to be social with other dogs, this is at the discretion of the owners and will be respected. Personally i have a dog and do not bring him to dog parks for my own personal reasons but some other dogs need social interaction depending on the dogs age and breed.

I once had a dog who loved to play fetch and catch and had other dogs who enjoyed just walking. Every dog is different and that is okay with me. I respect each dog as they are. I try to use routine walks and play to change things around, so everyday is a new day whether it snows or its a hot summer day.

I have in the past with my old employer had up to 4 dogs in dog parks 3 times weekly depending on the weather of course and other days where we walked on park trails etc. or just played in my big back yard and ran around.
