I stay at home. A typical day for your pet would be them interacting with me for most of the day, whether it be inside or outside.

We have plenty of space for separation of pets, if needed. (5 bedrooms, large garage and 3 living rooms.) We do not have a fenced in yard, but hope to have one soon. Currently, our large deck serves the purpose of outside playtime.

Let me know if there are any special needs or personality traits that I need to be aware of. The more I know about your dog, the better I can serve them. I'm looking forward to learning all that I can before their first visit.

#1 - I love to sing to the dogs. Please don't laugh. It lets them know that I am near. #2- Another fun activity is to dabble with dog training. Lots of dogs pull on their leash. Sometimes, the dog can be completely trained by the time the owner picks him/her up. It doesn't happen 100% of the time, but I enjoy seeing how quickly dogs respond to one-on-one training. I don't tell the owner that I'm secretly training their dog to do some show stopping tricks, also. Wink!

Experiencia en el cuidado de mascotas
I love watching dogs while their owners are away. Why? Because they make me happy and bring joy to the day! I offer a CLEAN, non-smoking home with a quiet atmosphere for a peaceful experience. Dogs are walked on a leash between 3 large lots. They enjoy lots of sniffing and lots of exercise while on the leash. We live near a park, so sometimes, we'll walk the big dogs to the park with the owner's permission. Our house is huge. Since I work from home, your dog will see me (and hear me) all the time. I have a living room that is outdated and was never upgraded. I love this room because it reminds me of my grandmother's house. It's just peaceful and relaxing. I use this room to meet and greet new dogs, so I can get to know them and their personality. Once they adjust, they earn privilege's into the rest of the house, one room at a time. I do this, so that your dog doesn't get overwhelmed with lots of smells, sounds and the new territory. One room at a time is my strategy. Dogs normally sleep on the sofas in that living room. (Not in kennels, unless the owner request a kennel) Convenient location on Cardinal Drive in Wilson. I also have a large deck, where your dog(s) can hang out, under a canopy, for some R&R and Vitamin D. Note: Puppies are welcomed here. I'll do my best to help with house training and leash training. Or, whatever you do at home, I'll do here. My day starts with walking your dog between 6-7am. Then, we enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck and play fetch. Every morning, I am able to spend approx. one hour of personal one-one-one time with your pet. Then, it's off to the home office, I go! Your pet will enjoy quick belly rubs, pats on the head for confirmations, a few fetches and sometimes they can lay under my desk for foot touches. I try to stay on schedule with potty breaks (and walks), but I'm always here to take them potty if they let me know. Preferred potty schedule for an adult dogs is: 6-7am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 9pm. LOL, though. Most of the time, the dogs love to go outside, so I listen to their command. Puppies go outside every 2-3 hours. Doggie Daycare is 'up to 10 hours.' After 10 hours, it's $2.50 per hour.

Gail was amazing with my little Shih-Tzu who hasn’t really been away from me for more than a day. I needed care for 4 days and felt at ease with Gail watching her. She sent me regular updates and photos, and made sure she stayed safe and happy. She even offered to cook her something special when she wasn’t eating the first day. I’ll definitely be returning with Vivian when I need care in the future. Thank you Gail!

Layla loves to stay with Gail! She is always excited when I drop her off and Gail always shares photos of the fun she has while she is there! Gail has watched Layla multiple times now and we will continue booking with her!

Gail was amazing with Zelda and her knowledge and experience looking after various dogs was definitely obvious when she was able to very accurately sum up Zelda's personality. Since our dog loves being around families and very comfortable around multiple people, being close to Gail, her husband and son was an amazing experience for Zelda. Since Gail also works from home it was great knowing there was always someone close by. We will definitely consider Gail again in the future, and Zelda already misses her!!

We always have a great experience with Gail! She takes great care of Winnie and sends great updates each day.
