Gail was a fantastic sitter for our Great Dane, Ruby. She took her for long walks every day, sent photos and let us know how she was doing. Ruby really bonded with Gail and settled in nicely with her and her 2 dogs. Gail is very responsible and conscientious and she clearly loves and understands dogs. We will definitely contact Gail again when we need a sitter.
Gail accommodated nova with short notice as our travel plans were complicated. She gave Nova a Safe and loving place to stay while tending to her needs and giving her loving care! Gail gave me many photos and I was confident that Nova had a good time with her other dogs. Thank you Gail!!
Gail was a great dog sitter for our 15 year old as well as our energetic 7 month puppy. They came back happy and tired. We had great communication as well. We will definitely look forward to boarding with her again. Thank you Gail!
For the 20 plus years I’ve known Gail, she has been a lover of dogs. She prioritizes their needs, whether it’s taking them on long walks in the woods, bringing them to the dog park to play with other dogs, being consistent with their training, feeding them healthy food, or giving them lots of love. Gail has taken excellent care of her own dogs as well as mine.
Gail has been a mom and caretaker of many dogs over the 20+ years I have been her friend. She has extensive knowledge of dog behavior and is dedicated to the welfare of animals of all kinds.
I've known Gail for over 20 years. In all that time, Gail has been a consistently loving, attentive, and attuned caregiver. Schedule
Unless I am traveling myself I am extremely flexible and available. I will let you know if I will need to spend more than a few hours away from your pet before booking a stay.

I think it’s important for pets to keep to their normal routine while their people are away. A little extra attention and affection also helps ease the stress of separation. I have a pretty mellow disposition and enjoy cuddling with a furry friend while reading or watching a show.

A typical day
I let the dogs have access to the fenced yard most of the time, weather permitting. I also have a 1.5 mile loop trail right from the house. For drop ins I’ll take your dogs on their usual walk, hopefully to a dog park for some play if that’s what they like. If not, a walk that is long and stimulating enough to make them satisfied. I like to make a connection with dogs through tone of voice and eye contact as well as touch. I like to feel like we’ve made friends and understand each other. I usually let cats lead the way. I’m available with as much affection and play as they need but if they prefer to stay aloof I can just be a calm presence until they are ready.
