My experience comes from being a devoted pet parent to my dog, Scout, who passed in 2021 at the age of 16. I took him in straight off the street, and although he initially struggled with leash aggression and severe separation anxiety, we worked through both with patience and love. Scout grew into a funny, smart, and active companion. I also rescued my cat Sophie in 1998, and we shared 13 wonderful years together. These experiences have shaped my understanding of pets with unique needs and the deep bond that comes from caring for them.

As a fellow condo owner, I understand how important it is to follow Association rules, unit‑owner requirements, and household expectations. The same care applies in apartments and single‑family homes. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m always respectful of their space and the guidelines they set.

Schedule
Because I’m retired, my schedule is very flexible. I typically work out 3–4 times a week and may have occasional appointments or outings, but I’m rarely gone for more than 4–5 hours at a time. Some days I don’t leave at all, depending on the weather and my plans. Your pets will always have a dependable, consistent presence in the home.

- Please let me know about any special needs your pets have, including medications or supplements. It’s also helpful to understand what may trigger them on walks, how they handle rain or snow, and whether they experience separation anxiety. Clear instructions for their daily care, along with emergency contacts — especially their veterinarian — ensure I can keep them safe, comfortable, and well‑supported. I do not accept unruly or aggressive pets.
