A typical day
I love hiking if that’s something your pet enjoys and am always happy to take them on a walk or hike that has shade and is okay on their paws! I will always bring water for them too. We can play outside but also hang inside and play with a toy if it’s too hot or tiring!

Pet care experience
I grew up taking care of my pets and wanting to be a veterinarian. I had two cats and a dog while growing up and have experience feeding, walking, and even administering medication to animals. As I got older I understood the devastating parts of animal care and decided to pursue medicine rather than veterinary school but my passion for animals continued. For the last five years, I have volunteered at numerous animal shelters as well as taking care of dogs and cats privately in the owner’s home as well as taking them on walks throughout the day. This year is my first year living without an animal and I am hoping Rover can provide the cuddles and animal connection I miss so dearly. I lead an active lifestyle which includes several walks and runs a day which I enjoy doing with dogs I watch as well. I would be happy to take your pups with me if they are willing! I am looking forward to getting to know and taking care of new animals!

Gaby took great care of our two boys! She shared photos throughout and let us know how things were going. Very responsive and great with older dogs! Would definitely work with her again.
Gaby was a last minute life saver for me when I had a sitter cancellation. She was flexible with my schedule and took excellent care of Frankie and was respectful of trying to replicate our scheduling and usual environment for him. She asked all the right questions to make me feel like she knew what was expected and how to best care for my dog. She is an excellent sitter for dogs like Frankie that are adjusting to time without their owner as she was open to not leaving him alone. I am so grateful for her help and recommend her for your dog!
Gaby was phenomenal with my GSD pup, Izzy. She kept me updated through the day with plenty of texts and pictures; adapted very easily to Izzy’s specific walk requirements (harness, special collars, etc) and took her out three times for long walks during the day! I came home to a pup who was so happy that she followed Gaby into the elevator in hopes that she would take her home!
Gaby is the best sitter! She house sat and stayed with my girl, Remi. Remi is an anxious and reactive girl, but loved her time with Gaby. Gaby is super sweet, patient and understanding. I’m very happy with how she took care of Remi (including walks, meds, cuddles, etc.). I didn’t have to worry at all. Highly recommend!
