Information Gaby M. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know what the dog enjoys doing, the way I can spoil them, his/her level of energy, age, breed, and the way they behave around other people and dogs. I prefer small and medium sized dogs, but can definitely take care of bigger dogs.

A typical day

*** First, I'll need to ask the owner for permission and for suggestions, since they know their pet the most! Options: -Walk the dog around the block or in a nearby trail (preferably mornings or late afternoons, so that it's not too hot for them). I can jog, instead, if your dog prefers running! - Play fetch - Massage and groom them - Snuggle time!

Pet care experience

Dear pet owners: Animals touch us in such a deeply profound spiritual way. They awaken, within us, one of our purest states of being that, with time and throughout years of conditioning by our society, we tend to forget: unconditional love. Animals help us remember what we were as a child: a soul that loved instantly, whether it was a family member or a stranger; a human being that knew nothing about resentment, jealousy, and any other negative emotions. Animals offer us something fundamental: a way to remember who we TRULY are. In reality, we all yearn to love so intensely and purely the way dogs do; to forget and forgive so quickly, unconditionally. We all aspire to pause from our fast-paced lives and to actually be “present” and live the moment, just the way cats do as they sit so calmly, with no worries about a past they cannot change anymore and a future that will never come. They teach us the language of the spirit, one that does not require words to listen to other forms of consciousness. They offer us a unique opportunity to transcend the boundaries of our human perspective and to grow spiritually beyond our narrow viewpoint of what we think reality is. I have been privileged to grow up surrounded by animals since the day I was born. I have always felt this deep, intricate connection with dogs and cats, mainly, who have taught me the potential we all have to create a trustworthy relationship without exchanging any words. They have taught me to open my heart with no fear and live my life in a loving and compassionate manner. This approach has changed my life in ways I would’ve never imagined before. Why pet sitting? I feel it’s a very rewarding and humble profession to love and care for those pets that need a trustworthy companion when their owners are away for some time or are working long hours. In return, I receive love, compassion, kindness, and joy. I understand that for many owners, they have this special and unique bond with their dogs and/or cats. I'll care for them knowing that they are an important and vital member of your family! ***!También hablo español!

Our fur babies love Gaby, they go months without seeing her and always remember who she is. She takes great care and provides pictures and information about the visits.

We had never used Rover before, so we weren't sure how it would go. Gaby scheduled a meet and greet, and Pepper, who is usually standoffish, loved her immediately. That already made us feel at ease. She communicated well, loved on Pepper, and sent pictures. She was super kind, and it made us actually want to start using this service. Thank you so much, Gaby!

Gaby was great with my two kitties and left the house in great shape. She was communicative and showed her deep love for animals in the care she gave.
