A calm demeanor and confidence seems to win the race every time. Boundaries are important but sacrificing love is not on the table! Less verbal commands, unless your dog is extremely well trained, and more presence and trust building brings me success in most scenarios. Leash training is not just for outside, but gentle leading is for all times. At the end of the day, your animals will be safe in my care, and I hope I am just as safe with your animals.

We were away for six days - our longest time away from Poppy so far. But we felt very comfortable with Gabrielle who had taken care of Poppy on a previous trip and who has been a regular walker. As has been my experience over the last few months with Gabrielle, she took amazing care of Poppy and was very professional and responsible overall.
Gabrielle got to know Poppy during a few walks last week and so I felt very comfortable leaving Poppy with Gabrielle during our first extended time away. Gabrielle was attentive to all Poppy's needs, took her for several long walks each day and provided great care. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing that Poppy was in good hands. Thanks, Gabrielle!

Schedule
Having full time clients, with hot and cold needs per season, my days are built out for everyone's needs to be met, or I won't take the job. If I say yes, it's because I have space for the requirements of the client/clients. Flexibility and planning is where I thrive.
