My first priority is making sure your pet is safe, healthy, and relaxed. On the first visit, I’ll take extra time to let them warm up at their own pace. From there, drop-ins and walks are tailored to your pet’s routines and your specific instructions. For visits I’ll handle feeding, water, playtime, clean up if needed, and a quick wellness check of appetite, energy, and bathroom use. I’ll always send pictures, a summary, and a notification of anything I find unusual. For walks, I’ll follow your specific instructions and routes, keep a close eye on your dog’s body language, and adjust for changes in energy level, weather, and continue with any leash manners you might be working on. Safety is always first on walks: I will always use safe and secure leash handling and will never allow for off-leash time on walks unless explicitly instructed to do otherwise. I will provide and carry water, and can also provide snacks if instructed to do so! I’m also comfortable working with older dogs or cats or pets with special needs for visits and walks. I’m familiar with providing injections and medications. I can also provide drop in services for smaller animals such as rodents, reptiles, or rabbits!
