I’ve taken care of pets of every kind since I was 10 years old! I’ve grown up caring for both cats and medium/small dogs, and currently have two wonderful adult cats. I am a huge animal lover, so much so that I’m also a PhD student studying the neuroscience of animal behavior! My work provides me with a lot of flexibility early in the morning and in the afternoons and evenings. I am comfortable doing drop in visits for medium dogs, small dogs, cats, and smaller pets such as mice, rats, rabbits, and geckos. I’m also comfortable providing walks for medium and small dogs too! My childhood dog was a small dog that had mobility issues, so I’m also incredibly attentive to animal health and willing to go the extra mile for any pet with special needs.

Safety, trust & environment
My first priority is making sure your pet is safe, healthy, and relaxed. On the first visit, I’ll take extra time to let them warm up at their own pace. From there, drop-ins and walks are tailored to your pet’s routines and your specific instructions. For visits I’ll handle feeding, water, playtime, clean up if needed, and a quick wellness check of appetite, energy, and bathroom use. I’ll always send pictures, a summary, and a notification of anything I find unusual. For walks, I’ll follow your specific instructions and routes, keep a close eye on your dog’s body language, and adjust for changes in energy level, weather, and continue with any leash manners you might be working on. Safety is always first on walks: I will always use safe and secure leash handling and will never allow for off-leash time on walks unless explicitly instructed to do otherwise. I will provide and carry water, and can also provide snacks if instructed to do so! I’m also comfortable working with older dogs or cats or pets with special needs for visits and walks. I’m familiar with providing injections and medications. I can also provide drop in services for smaller animals such as rodents, reptiles, or rabbits!

This was my second time booking Gabrielle, and once again she took wonderful care of my cat, Kali. During the heat wave, she went the extra mile by making sure the AC was turned on when needed and even refilled Kali’s water bowl with ice to keep her comfortable. She even complied with some of my cats tantrums to keep her happy while I was away, and I was especially grateful that she was available over a holiday weekend. Thank you so much for taking such great care of her, I really appreciate it!
My usually very shy boy cat really enjoyed his time w Gabrielle. She sent pics & updates from each visit. If I have need for a sitter again & she's available, I'll definitely reach out.
This was our second time booking with Gabi and just like last time, she took such great care of our girls! She was so mindful about making them as comfortable as possible that when one of my cats was feeling a bit shy, Gabi gave her a treat to reintroduce herself. Love the thoughtful and carefulness that Gabi has when checking in on my cats. Will be my go-to sitter from now on!!
Fantastic responsive sitter. My cat just started meds and Gabrielle was amazing and flexible. They did a great job updating me and keeping him safe.
Gabby was so fantastic with Meester I couldn’t have asked for anyone better while I was away across an ocean missing my best pal. Her photos made me completely sure that Meester absolutely adores and trusts her wholly and all the updates on his litter/food and snackies/general mood made me sure he was also staying healthy and comfortable. So great!!!

Schedule
I have a very flexible work schedule, but I’ll mostly be available to provide care early in the mornings before 9AM and later in the afternoons after 4PM!
