Home worker seeking a cuddly friend to look after.
I’ve always had animals around me, so looking after them just feels natural at this point. Over the years I’ve helped out with pets for family, friends, and neighbours, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy doing. I’ve been house sitting and pet sitting for about five years now, including a year in Australia, and my partner and I do this full‑time on another app. I’m originally from Liverpool but travel around quite a bit for sits, which has meant meeting so many different pets and lovely owners. I’ve joined Rover to connect with more people locally. I’ve looked after all sorts: big dogs, tiny dogs, cats, sheep, goats, chickens, and even a whole mob of kangaroos during a sit in Australia. The place used to be a kangaroo retreat, so we took over feeding them while we were there — there were so many of them. Every animal has their own little routine and quirks, and I really enjoy settling into whatever makes them feel comfortable and happy while their humans are away.

When looking after your pet I will always make sure they feel safe and at home, that’s my main priority. I want your pet to feel like they’re not being looked after by a random stranger but rather a loving friend. I will follow any schedule your pet has and any requirements you will give me when looking after your pet.

Gabby has just finished her dog sit for my little boy, Rolo. I cannot thank her enough! Gabby sat Rolo for 2 weeks whilst we were out of the country. I was nervous/anxious at first because we’d never left Rolo for so long but there really was no need for me to be! Gabby arrived on time as planned, which gave me plenty of time to go through instructions with her and take Rolo for a short walk. They had previously met when doing a meet and greet. Gabby messaged me every day with updates and photos, which I was really grateful for with this being a new experience for us and Rolo. My heart melted when Gabby sent me a photo of Rolo sleeping on his back, meaning that he was comfortable and trusted her. Gabby followed all instructions and checked with me if anything needed clarifying. She even watered my plants! I would highly recommend Gabby and plan on booking her in the future.
Gabby was amazing. Bear absolutely loved her and had a great time while we were away. She followed all my instructions and Bear had all his food and medication and she took him on some great walks! We’re looking forward to her next stay with Bear! 🙌
Gabby looked after our three cats while we were away and she was amazing. She made everything so easy. The cats liked her straight away, which really surprised us, and she kept us updated with photos so we didn’t worry. We’d recommend Gabby to anyone needing a sitter.
Gabby looked after our two spaniels and they adored her. She kept them busy with walks and play, and sent us loads of fun updates that made us smile. You can tell she really loves dogs. we’d recommend her in a heartbeat.
Gabby looked after our dog and two cats when we went away. Honestly she was great, the pets loved her straight off. She sent us loads of updates, little pics and messages that made us feel really relaxed about being gone. You can tell she really cares, nothing felt like a hassle for her. We had Gabby look after our dog, rabbit, and parrot while we were away, and she managed the mix so well. Each pet got what they needed, and she kept everything running smoothly. Our parrot was actually chirpier when we got back, which says a lot! Gabby’s easy to trust and clearly enjoys spending time with animals. I’d recommend her to anyone with a busy household of pets.

Schedule
I work from home, so I’m around throughout the day and can give pets plenty of company and attention. Because my partner and I pet sit full‑time, animals naturally fit into my daily routine — walks, feeding times, play, and just being around them. When I’m looking after your pet, they’re never short of company, and I make sure they feel relaxed, settled, and cared for.
