*PLEASE NOTE: FROM JUNE ONWARDS, I WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO LOOK AFTER ANIMALS ON A WEEKEND (Friday drop off after 6pm). I might be able to look after your pet on a weekday evening during this time but due to the start of rotations, it will vary week by week. I’m sorry for any inconvenience.* I am a 4th year vet student at University of Liverpool so i am trained in animal first aid and behaviour. I am also lucky enough to be the proud owner of 2 dogs (a Hungarian vizsla and a cocker spaniel) and 2 cats who I adore and care for when I get back from uni. Growing up, we’ve always had animals in the house so being at university it feels strange not having a furry friend around, so I would be ecstatic to look after your pet in Neston for any length of time! Having owned animals, I am used to feeding, walking and giving medications myself when necessary so I am fully competent to do the same here. I have also completed extensive work with a local doggy daycare at home and I have a rich experience with a variety of dogs ranging in age, breed, size and temperament. Similarly, I spent a few months volunteering at a local cat rescue in Liverpool every week doing anything from deep-cleaning litter trays, administering medications and socialising them so they can be adopted into another happy household.

Great experience with Gabby ( & friends!) looking after our 9 month old Otto overnight. She is very friendly & clearly adores dogs. She kept to his routine, sent us regular pics /videos and updates which reassured us he was happy as Larry! Would highly recommend and not hesitate to use again. Thankyou so much ☺️
Gabrielle took great care of my dog when I needed to go away for a night. We arranged a pre-meet in advance so she could get to know my dog before accepting the booking and sent me regular updates and pictures during his stay. Her communication was great

Couldn’t fault Gabrielle at all. We had regular updates which was so reassuring and if anything, we worried our girls wouldn’t want to come home! Fantastic and will deffo be using again x thank you so much x
Once again Gabrielle has been a fantastic sitter. I love having her look after my dog because I know she will be loved and cared for as if she was her own! Communication is always great and it’s always nice getting little updates and photos of my dog throughout her stay. Massively recommend if you’re after a sitter!

Schedule
I am fully flexible on the weekends but during the week, my availability can be variable. However, even if I am listed as unavailable please don’t hesitate to get in touch and I will happily try to work around your schedule to the best of my ability. Please note that if your dog is prone to barking a lot, I may not be able to take them for boarding or doggy daycare as I don’t want to disturb my neighbours.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a safe garden and I live with 3 other girls (also vet students) who would be more than happy to accommodate a dog or cat in the house. There are lots of large, grassy areas nearby where I can take a dog for walks and I am happy to let your pet in my own room or keep them downstairs, depending on what you and your pet are most accustomed to. There is plenty of space in the house and an area outside where they can go to the toilet. I am also DBS checked.
A typical day
I will care for your pet as if it were my own and I can take a dog out for regular exercise. When we get back after our walk, I will keep them near me at all times and depending on your/their preferences, I am more than happy to take them into my room overnight. I will closely follow all instructions given regarding their care (feeding times, how often they need to be taken outside, etc). They will be a much loved member of the household for their time spent here! I can also send lots of photo updates throughout the day to let you know how they’re doing.
