I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I always take the time to follow the owner's instructions carefully. Whether I'm caring for your pet in your home or spending time with them during a drop-in visit or walk, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I make sure pets have fresh water, meals on schedule, plenty of exercise and bathroom breaks, and lots of attention and affection based on what they're comfortable with. I'm happy to play with them, reinforce basic routines, administer medications if clear instructions are provided, and send regular photo and text updates so you know how they're doing. I also treat every client's home with the same respect I would my own by keeping it clean, secure, and following any household instructions. My goal is to provide dependable care so both you and your pet can feel at ease while you're away.

It's also helpful to know about their personality, how they interact with people and other animals, any fears or anxieties, and anything that helps them feel comfortable. Please let me know about any medical conditions, allergies, medications, mobility limitations, or special care instructions. I also appreciate knowing your veterinarian's contact information, emergency contacts, and any household routines or rules you'd like me to follow. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active and engaged in ways that match their personality and energy level. Depending on what they enjoy, we can go on walks, play fetch or tug-of-war, enjoy interactive toys, practice basic commands with positive reinforcement, or simply spend time cuddling and giving them plenty of attention. For cats, I'm happy to play with wand toys, laser toys (when appropriate), puzzle toys, or just provide quiet companionship if they prefer a more relaxed environment. I always follow the owner's routine and respect each pet's age, health, and comfort level. My goal is to make sure they have fun, stay mentally and physically stimulated, and feel safe and cared for while you're away.
