Availability

I work fully remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to fit pet care easily into my daily routine. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits throughout the day, including morning, midday, and evening visits. I also have two dogs of my own, so caring for dogs is already a big part of my everyday life. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and provide reliable, consistent care when you’re away or unable to be there.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for someone’s pet. I take the time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, and specific needs so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m attentive during walks and drop-in visits, keeping dogs safely leashed and supervised and making sure doors, gates, and their environment are secure. I treat every client’s home with the same care and respect I would my own. I’m also comfortable caring for dogs with anxiety, different energy levels, and special routines, and I understand how important consistency and patience can be. My goal is for both you and your dog to feel completely comfortable and confident in my care.

Information Gabrielle G. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for a pet, I like to learn as much as possible about their personality, routine, and individual needs. It’s helpful to know their feeding and walking schedule, favorite activities, energy level, comfort around other pets and people, and any behaviors or quirks I should be aware of. I also appreciate knowing about any medications, allergies, fears, or special instructions. Every pet is different, and having this information ahead of time helps me provide the safest, most comfortable, and personalized care possible.

A typical day

A typical day with the pets I care for is filled with plenty of exercise, playtime, attention, and lots of love! I like to keep pets active and engaged with walks, games of fetch, outdoor adventures, and plenty of opportunities to explore and sniff. Depending on their personality and energy level, we may enjoy a long walk, play in the yard, work on basic enrichment activities, or simply relax and cuddle together. I want every pet to feel comfortable, safe, and included, so I tailor activities to what they enjoy most. Whether your pup is energetic and ready for an adventure or prefers lounging on the couch and getting belly rubs, I make sure they get plenty of one-on-one attention and feel right at home while you're away.

Pet care experience

I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always had two or more dogs in my home. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors, and have experience with both large and small breeds. I’ve also volunteered with Dog Orphans in Massachusetts, where I gained additional hands-on experience working with and training dogs. I’ve provided dog care for extended periods of time and have experience caring for dogs with different needs, including dogs with anxiety and dogs requiring extra medical care, such as insulin injections for diabetes. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable adapting to each dog’s personality and routine. Whether your dog needs a long walk, a potty break, medication, or simply some companionship and reassurance, I’m happy to provide the care and attention they deserve.
