Information Gabrielle C. would like to know about your pet

Before sitting your pet, I’d love to know as much as possible to ensure I can provide the best care. Some key things I’d like to learn include: • Routine & Preferences: What’s your dog’s daily routine like? Are there specific feeding times, nap schedules, or activities they enjoy most? • Behavior & Temperament: Does your dog have any special quirks, likes, or dislikes? Are there any behaviors I should be aware of, like separation anxiety, food guarding, or a dislike of certain types of handling? • Health & Safety: Does your dog have any medical conditions or medications I need to manage? Are they up-to-date on vaccinations and flea/tick prevention? • Training & Commands: Are there any specific commands or cues your dog responds to? Do they need any reinforcement on certain behaviors or training during their stay? • Emergency Contact & Vet Information: In case of an emergency, who should I reach out to? Do you have a preferred vet or hospital? The more I know about your dog’s personality, needs, and routine, the better I can ensure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away!

A typical day

A typical day with the pets I watch is filled with fun and engaging activities! I love starting the day with a morning walk to get some fresh air and stretch those legs. If your dog loves the park, we can make a trip there for some off-leash playtime or a game of fetch. I’m also a fan of interactive play—whether it’s tug-of-war or puzzle toys, I love keeping their minds and bodies active. Throughout the day, I make sure to provide plenty of snuggles, attention, and breaks to keep them comfortable. If they prefer to relax, I’ll happily hang out with them for some quiet time at home. Before the day ends, I make sure to go for another walk or play outside, so they go to bed happy and tired. Every dog is different, so I adjust the activities to suit their energy level and personality.

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Gabrielle, a lifelong dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all sizes—from tiny pups to big, energetic breeds like doodles. I’ve been dog sitting for family and friends for years and am excited to connect with more furry friends and their humans through Rover! I love taking dogs on walks, to the park, or just hanging out and keeping them company at home. Safety and trust are my top priorities, and I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own. I’m a recent grad school graduate currently job searching in the corporate world, so I have a flexible schedule and would love to help out while I make a little extra cash. I am currently home full time and am available for drop ins or house sittings when needed! I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings. If you’re looking for a reliable, friendly sitter who truly loves dogs, I’d be thrilled to meet you and your pup! Also I am vaccinated!

Gabrielle is thoughtful, communicative, and easy to coordinate with. I appreciate how flexible and attentive she is throughout the process. I feel comfortable trusting her with Oogie and would gladly book with her again.

Gabrielle took very good care of my dog while I was away, she can be shy around new people but warmed up quickly. My dog is also particular with feeding but Gabrielle handled it well, ensuring my dog kept her schedule. Anytime I’m out of town I look to Gabrielle first!

Gabrielle watched our puppy Pickles in our home while we were away. She was awesome! She sent photos, videos, and updates throughout her stay. He settled in immediately with her and looked so happy. We knew we didn't have to worry about him at all. Gabrielle was super responsive, flexible, and a joy to work with. We will rebook with her anytime!
