I am always with or near the dogs, so they are never left alone. I work from home on part-time contracts and care for our family dog while kids are at school. I'm able to offer daily walks and as many mealtimes, potty breaks, and attention as your pet needs. At night, pets sleep inside in whichever arrangement is preferred for them.

It can be so hard to leave a beloved pet, but not to worry, I truly like to give pets their best life! I'm able to care for well-socialized pets and provide plenty of exercise and affection every day, and cozy resting spots where I am never far. I have a large fenced yard and 2 crates available if needed (unless instructed to use a crate, I do not use them). Reactive dogs are not a good fit for my home.

Please contact me to set up a meet & greet to introduce your pet to my home and ensure a good fit. I will ask about the preferred sleeping arrangement (we have everything from crate to sharing the bed), how your pet does with leashed walks and off-leash, whether your pet has special rules or needs, and whether it's ok to give treats.
A typical day
I'm very adaptable to your pet's needs and always follow the pet owner's guidance. I typically take dogs on a short car ride to hike by the river (on or off leash as appropriate). A typical day also includes yard play, mini training sessions with treats, and an evening sniff walk around the neighborhood (leashed). My family dog Juniper is a spayed female who loves a good play session with dog friends followed by cozy downtime.

I'm a wildlife biologist who grew up with pets of all kinds. I provide 24/7 personalized care in a safe, loving, and playful environment. Your pet will join my family: our well-socialized dog Juniper, my husband (also a wildlife biologist), and our 2 daughters. Your pet will enjoy access to our comfortable indoor living areas and a large, securely fenced backyard. I am experienced with puppies and senior dogs and only take one client at a time (up to 2 dogs).

Chaco was so happy during drop off. She must have remembered Gabby and the family. We enjoyed the pictures and communication while away. Chaco loved her swim in the river, walks with the family, and play time with Juni. Super grateful for Gabby and the family for caring for Chaco. 🐾
Gabrielle was amazing to work with and took wonderful care of my dog while we were gone! She provided updates every day which gave me such peace of mind. I was happy to know he was safe and being cared for in a family home environment, getting lots of pets and love! Highly recommend her for pet sitting!
I honestly feel so touched by the way Gabrielle took care of my two boys while I was in Sweden for more than two weeks. It is stressful to leave our four legged family members behind and the fact that I could tell in photos and in their demeanor when I got back that they had had excellent care and attention really means the world to me. I highly recommend Gabrielle and find her both responsible and kind and a true animal lover !!
