Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine because animals have always been a big part of my life. I care for my own dog, Sage, every day by making sure she gets exercise, attention, and proper care. I also regularly help take care of my boyfriend’s five cats, so feeding, cleaning litter boxes, and giving them love and attention is something I’m very used to doing throughout the week. Because I’m already in the habit of caring for animals daily, it’s easy for me to incorporate pet sitting into my schedule and make sure every pet gets the time, care, and attention they deserve.

When caring for pets, my goal is always to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible by feeding them on schedule, making sure they have fresh water, taking dogs on walks or letting them out for bathroom breaks, and giving them plenty of attention and playtime. I also keep litter boxes clean for cats and make sure they get the affection and care they need. Because I’ve grown up around many different animals and currently care for my own dog, Sage, as well as my boyfriend’s five cats, I’m very comfortable with different personalities and needs. It’s helpful to know how they typically behave around new people, other animals, and on walks. My goal is to understand each pet’s unique needs ahead of time so I can make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owner is away.
A typical day
I love making sure pets stay active, happy, and engaged while their owners are away. For dogs, I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch, and spending time outside so they can get exercise and burn off energy. I also love playing with their favorite toys and giving them lots of attention and affection. For cats, I like to play with toys, laser pointers, or anything that keeps them curious and stimulated, while also giving them plenty of cuddles if they enjoy affection. My goal is always to make sure every pet feels loved, entertained, and comfortable while they’re in my care.

I have a lifelong love for dogs and years of hands-on experience caring for them. I grew up around dogs and currently have my own pitbull named Sage, who I adopted and trained myself. She is the sweetest girl and has taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and giving dogs the love and structure they need to thrive. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, basic training reinforcement, and making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I treat every dog like they’re my own and always make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care.

Gabrielle has taken care of our babies for years, she is very loving to our babies and takes very good care of them. We are at ease when we go out of town and have to leave them. We know that they are in great hands with lots of love and care. She plays with them.
