Safety, trust & environment
My pets are my family and I recognize that these dogs are a member of someone else’s family. I treat them as such with love and respect just as if I were babysitting a human!
Information Gabrielle B. would like to know about your pet
Before our first walk, I like to know everything about your dog such as; their breed, temperament, any triggers, dietary restrictions, medications, how they are on leash, and how they interact with other dogs and strangers. This isn’t just paperwork to me, it’s how I make sure your dog is safe, comfortable, and in the right hands from day one. Every dog is different, and the more I know upfront, the better I can show up for them. I’d rather spend an extra ten minutes getting it right than miss something important on the walk.
A typical day
I like to take a minute to greet your dog on their terms, let them sniff me out, and get a read on their energy before we head out. From there, we hit the sidewalks and make our way toward the beach path when/if the pup is up for it. I let dogs stop and sniff freely because that mental stimulation is just as important as the physical exercise. If your dog is playful, we’ll find a grassy spot to shake off some extra energy. Every walk ends with fresh water and a photo update so you know exactly how it went. The goal is always for your dog to come home happy, tired, and well loved.

Pet care experience
🐾 About Me Dogs have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. In high school, I helped raise my family’s Goldendoodle from puppyhood — learning firsthand what it takes to build trust, establish routines, and nurture a dog through every stage of growth. During my four years of college, I went on to foster six dogs over my 4 years at UCLA: four puppies and two adults - each with their own unique needs. Whether it was managing special diets, administering medications, or simply giving extra patience and love to a dog still finding their footing, I learned how to adapt and show up for every personality and situation. Over the years I’ve built experience across a wide range of breeds: from energetic Labs and loyal German Shepherds to golden retrievers, terriers, poodles, and everything in between. Big or small, high-energy or laid-back, I know how to read a dog and meet them where they are. Being based in Ocean Park/Santa Monica and having a flexible work schedule, I am able to be genuinely present, not just fitting walks in between errands, but actually looking forward to them. Getting outside, putting in miles along the beach, and spending real time with dogs is something I genuinely love. Your pup won’t just be getting exercise, they’ll be getting attention, care, and a walker who’s happy to be there. I treat every dog like my own. I’d love to meet yours. 🐶
Reviews
Gabby is an extremely caring, attentive, and responsible pet lover. She's fostered and cared for many pets and has always gone above and beyond to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I would trust her without hesitation to care for my own pets, knowing they'd be in kind, capable hands. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable pet sitter or dog walker.
Gabby is a true animal lover. She comes from a family who had cats, dogs, chickens, turtles, and rabbits. She volunteered her time in college fostering puppies and has dog and cat sat for neighbors in high school. She absolutely loves dogs and will care for your pet as if it was her own. Your pet will be in excellent care and company with Gabby!
