Lifelong dog lover, kid of trainer
I grew up with multiple dogs, have provided paid dog care for 10 years, and currently have my own 8-year-old dog, so caring for pups has been part of my life since childhood. My mom is a professional dog trainer, and I've picked up a lot from her over the years about reading dog behavior and body language. I'm comfortable with anxious or shy dogs and know how to help them feel safe. I'm also confident giving medications when needed. I'm an active person who loves going for walks, and I like bringing dogs along when possible — so your pup won't just be sitting around, they'll get plenty of exercise and attention too.

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs get let out 1st thing in the morning, 1st thing when I return home from being out, and last thing before I go to bed. When I am home I respond to physical behaviors and vocal communication, defaulting to a potty break every few hours. Dogs get at least one physical outing a day. For both dogs and cats, I take time to be restful around the house so they can chill near me and/or cuddle and receive attention.

Gabby is AWESOME! I have a quirky and anxious dog and she does great with him. I trust her explicitly with him and often have her be one of my main people to help me take him out when I am busy with work. She has taken him out on hikes and also had him for multiple days and has always made sure he was well taken care of. She has a great understanding of working with dogs that need a little more support or who can be a little reactive to things like my dog and I am never worried something is going to happen when she has him!

Schedule
I am a full-time Master of Social Work student at the University of Utah. I am available for morning pet car every day of the week. I am available for evening pet care Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, and Sun. I am available for midday drop ins and care Fri-Sun.
