Stay-at-home + a dog who loves dogs
Hi, I’m Gabriella! I’m a stay-at-home software developer, which means someone is here with your dog all day - no long stretches alone, no rushing home between meetings. My sidekick is Milo, our mini bernedoodle. He goes to the dog park twice a day and has yet to meet a dog he didn’t immediately adore. Honestly, having a friend in the house is his dream scenario, so your pup would be doing him a favor. Your dog gets two dog park trips a day, a playmate who never runs out of energy, and photo updates you didn’t ask for but will enjoy. I’ll treat them exactly how I’d want Milo treated - safe, spoiled, and pleasantly worn out by bedtime.

My pup had the best time with Gabriella! She was communicative and sent lots of pics. I’m so glad to have her ❤️

Schedule
My schedule is built around dogs already, so adding one doesn’t change much. I’m home all day working, so your dog is never alone for long stretches — just a friend at my feet while I work, with breaks for play and attention throughout the day. Milo and I hit the dog park twice a day, morning and late afternoon, and your pup comes along (or gets a neighborhood walk instead if the dog park isn’t their scene). Meals, medications, and potty breaks run on whatever schedule you set — I’d rather keep your dog’s routine than impose mine. Evenings are calm: couch time, a little play, and lights out at a normal hour. Weekends look the same, just slower.

A typical day
Morning: Everyone’s up around 7. Potty break in the yard first thing, then breakfast on your dog’s normal schedule and with their own food. Once the coffee’s made, Milo and I head to the dog park — usually 30–45 minutes of running, sniffing, and general nonsense before we come home. Midday: This is the quiet stretch. I’m at my desk working, and the dogs do what dogs do — nap in a sunbeam, chew something, occasionally wrestle. I take short breaks to throw a ball or step outside, so nobody’s holding it or getting bored. If your dog needs meds, midday doses happen here. Afternoon: Second dog park trip, usually around 4 or 5. If your dog isn’t a dog park dog, we do a long neighborhood walk instead — I follow your lead on what they’re comfortable with. Evening: Dinner on schedule, then a low-key night. Some play, some couch time, a last potty break before bed. Your dog sleeps wherever they’re used to — crate, dog bed, or floor next to me. Whatever keeps them feeling normal. You’ll get photos throughout, plus a quick check-in message so you know how the day went.

- Because Milo is here and the two dogs will be sharing space, I only take dogs who are comfortable and non-aggressive with both people and other dogs. Milo is friendly to a fault and won’t read warning signs, so a dog who needs space or gets reactive isn’t a good fit here — not a judgment on your dog, just the wrong setup for them. Beyond that, tell me everything: feeding schedule and portions, medications and timing, leash manners, whether they’re a runner if a door opens, what scares them, what they love, and any quirks I should expect. The more I know upfront, the more your dog’s stay feels like a normal week to them. I’m always happy to do a meet-and-greet with Milo first so we can all make sure it’s a good match.
