MY SCHEDULE It's wide open! I work from home full time as a cybersecurity consultant and also volunteer for the Humane Society periodically. My preference would be to host your pup in my home or provide drop in visits. I’m a homebody so when I do host a pup at my house, I am home with them the whole time. I do also enjoy drop in visits because it forces me to get out and go for a walk. I’m not on Rover for the money, I do it because I genuinely enjoy it.

MY HOME I live in a single family home with a fully fenced backyard where Yeti likes to lay in the sun and chew on sticks. Inside the home is fairly minimal (aside from dog toys everywhere) so we don’t have any fragile decor or household items that could be harmful to pets. Our neighborhood is very quiet with sidewalks and a nearby park & golf course, which is ideal for our daily walks.

OUR TYPICAL DAY We are regulars at the dog parks (Beckley Creek & Tom Sawyer), so with your permission ahead of time, I will happily include your pup in those adventures! We also have safe walking areas within our community that we frequent. Most importantly, we have a fully fenced backyard and a basket of toys just waiting to be played with.

ABOUT ME My name is Gabriella, 33, I work from home full time and volunteer at the Humane Society whenever my schedule allows. I've always been an animal lover and began pet setting for family & friends when I was about 13 years old — 20 years ago now! I finally rescued my very own dog (Yeti) in 2024. We spend a lot of time at the dog park, hanging out in the backyard, and exploring nearby trails. ABOUT YETI Proudly adopted from Kentucky Humane Society in Louisville. Yeti is a 2.5 year old Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix. He is incredibly friendly to all dogs & humans and is great at sharing his toys. Given how he interacted with his four legged friends at the dog parks, I quickly learned that he plays well with all sizes, ages, and breeds. We have now hosted several dogs (for a week or long weekend) and we both love having the extra energy around the house!

Gabriella gave detailed information about my puppy, took many pics and stayed in contact. Very happy with her watching Peaches!
This was our first time using Rover. Gabriella asked all the right questions (which I may not have even thought about) and provided exactly what we needed. She spent the hour with our puppies outside, sending adorable pics that helped comfort my worries of being gone all day and sent a follow up message detailing the visit. Definitely a great 1st time experience
100% satisfied with Gabriella. We dropped off our dog and Gabriella watched her for several days. She sent plenty of pictures and our Bella loves playing with her dog, Yeti. We will continue to have Gabriella take care of our dog when we are out of town.
