Small dog care in Girdwood!

New to Rover, not to dog sitting. We have a big house and a soft spot for small dogs, including our new 5lb rescue puppy Leo. Happy to host your little ones while you’re in town. We have a quiet path in the woods for dogs to safely sniff and enjoy some time in the forest, and a large house and fireplace for them to get cozy inside. Plenty of room for them to have their own separate space if they get tired of our puppy.

She took such great care of my little guy and was so accommodating with picking him up and dropping him off!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I work from home full time with a generously flexible schedule, so lots of walks, playtime, and couch hangs are at the ready. We wake up fairly early and go to sleep early as well.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has an unfenced garden
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog
No children present

Safety, trust & environment

We have a large private yard and back woods that are quiet and set away from the road, traffic, or other neighbors. I always keep animals leashed. We have property cameras and are just a generally safe and quiet home.

A typical day

I work from home with intermittent meetings but love to get out and garden, walk, hike, bike or hang in the sun when I can. Leo and I try to spend a good amount of time sniffing around the backyard forest, and will sometimes walk the bike path if it’s not too busy. I do try to get out to ski for a few hours during the season, but can tailor this depending on the dogs’ needs.
