In a house with 4 cats and 2 dogs I’m constantly caring for pets of all ages! Currently I work part time, so I’m available most hours of the evening during the week and some weekends. Early mornings I could also do. I am ready for anything :)

My first course of action with a dog I’m caring for is always to take them for a walk or let them out as it might’ve been hours since they’ve last been out. I’ll try for longer walks to use up all their energy til the next time I pop in. Then it’s time for food and water refill and play time/enrichment time where I try to get the last of their energy out. If I’m watching cats, I’ll feed them first and as they eat is my time to clean out the litter box. Cats also need tons of play time, so after they eat I’ll entertain them too. The hardest part for me is always leaving them.

A typical day
I love to play different games with the dogs I watch. I’ll always try to guess their favorite toy and try to play tug of war or fetch! On walks I’ll let them catch all the new scents, but also remain focused. With kitties I know they might need more time but I’ll figure out how they like to play too!

Pet care experience
Animal care is my biggest passion. I’ve recently graduated college with a degree in biology, where I often volunteered at shelters for animal care experience. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, and even birds and turtles for as long as I can remember. My friends and family know they can rely on me when away for vacation to drop in and play with their pets, keep their pets company, and walk and feed their pets. I don’t think I’ve ever met a pet that doesn’t like me! So I’m so excited to help those in my community with animal care.

Gabriella is a very responsible pet caregiver . She has often been given this responsibility by her friends parents who go on vacation. She is dedicated to their well-being. She loves all animals and will be going to veterinary school or vet tech for her career. We have 1 dog , 4 cats and several fish. She is always very helpful in their feeding and cleaning litter boxes and walking the dog . She has watched all breeds of dogs from Yorkie, Cocker spaniels , Sschnauzer , Maltese , Bichon and German Shepard. I believe that Gabriella be a great asset to your company.
