I grew up with dogs my whole life and have always loved them. My husband and I recently lost our sweet yellow lab, Meeko, to lymphoma and greatly miss her and having a dog in the home. We adopted Meeko when she was 8 weeks old, so I have experience with training a puppy and frequent potty breaks. In addition to lymphoma, Meeko had allergies throughout her life, so I'm well versed in giving oral medications, tracking medication schedules, and providing a strict allergen-free diet. Meeko also had TPLO surgeries for both of her hind legs, so I have experience taking care of a recovering dog that needs to take it slow and needs extra care. My friends and family have also often entrusted me to take care of their dogs, both overnight stays and day care while I work from home. I love each dog like they're my own and enjoy play time, walks, and cuddling on the couch.
